MRPR1993: I absolutely love Sugar...she so bendy and expressive... THE 3rd page panel leg gutters IS CRAZYYYY. Such a cool ending too! Makes you wonder! Also obsessed with the color palette. Cab: My hand hurts when I look at how much you can fit into your panels. I think I've mentioned it before, but the maximalist approach you have in some of your shots baffles me! Miranda is charming as ever, and this plot is INSANE. Peck has zero chill, LMFAO. JCee: AHHHH, The whole vibe of this is darling. I've mentioned it already, but DO NOT BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF... This is such a solid, complete comic, and even more impressive on top of what you went through during its creation. I love how the dish acted as a message to Swan... Her meeting with her mom... Ah...MY HEART...Great great work! Flytee: I LOVE WILMA. I LOVE HER. The British Bake Off Reference... The way each sequence progressed into...THAT ENDING...AMAZING. This whole comic is so funny and lively. I love how POV Bot just pulled the 4th wall beam on Wilma...ART. Now I need you to assure me that she gets turned back eventually ;_; -- Since this is my last comment on all the brackets, I just wanted to say big thanks to everyone who drew my girl, Inez! You all nailed my little try-hard! I also appreciate all the sweet messages on my entry, really...I hope I can get better!

MrPR1993: think with the amount of sugar in your comic I probably have cavities XD while your comic is short I gotta say I do love the overall comic. You have me curious on who is that mysterious sugar fiend in the last panel. I hope to see more of your work in the near future. Cab: Your art and comic making skills is really good, do love how much you were able to add in this long panel page even if the overall story here is silly. Had me chuckling at the idea of a robotic monkey messing with the bakeoff. Oh well, maybe next time Ms. Mayor will have a better shot at winning. Just leave the monkey at home XD. Jcee: awww this is just too heart warming seeing Black swan baking something from her childhood, really pulls at the heartstrings especially seeing her visit her mama. Overall while short its a great comic. Juxta: ahhhh I think I love your comic the best from the Bracket C of comics, just poor Inez just getting anxious and self concious on the baking and then you have poor Kid accidentally tripping her with his tail. (He would be very apologetic and Inez should probably expect some apology desserts sent her way from Kid because he would feel bad about that.) Just love the overall look of your comic so smooth and so pretty. And then the winner of all this being pinecone. I just overall love it. Flytee: poor Wilma, she was doing her best to be helpful in the bakeoff only to be eliminated from the bakeoff and reality. I was chuckling at every panel as Wilma just seem to help, hype or distract the contestants. Overall I loved the comdey in this comic along with the art.

MrPR1993- But of course, we couldn’t have a sweets competition without sugar (sweet), I’m glad you came back to make more comics, I so do miss reading your works, I hope to see more in the future. Jcee- Amazing skill with this comic, its great we got to see some of Swan’s cherish memories of her mom, this comic was a fine cooked meal made with motherly love and affection, we can all enjoy. Flytee- I can see the great british bake off influence here and the love of it, this was a fun, and enjoyable read from one of my favorite void artists, you sure do know how to make smiles on all our faces, and I wish you well on all your futures comic tales here and on other places, my friend, keep on cooking. Juxta- What can I say, YOU DID NOT HAVE TO GO THIS HARD !!!, wow, you went from cooking us a nice meal of a comic to an all out all you can eat buffet for our eyes, truly this is one of the best comics I have read all year, awesome stuf you did here, 10 out of 10, and I didn’t expect that ending great stuff. --- Personal note; -- while I can cook, I can't really bake, it's a different skill set in my opinion so hats off to all voiders who can bake up some tasty treats in real life.

Being neurotic about baking reminds me of the emotional wreck I became whole cooking a lemon meringue 11 years ago as a 17 year old boy at the time. Jolly good.

Loved the story here Cab! I'm always impressed by the amount of detail you can put in each of your panels. I enjoyed the chocolate chorro joke and I was happy with the heartwarming bit of Miranda and Peck.

My comic is super dumb but I had a laugh making it, it very much slotted into some windows of free time I had over the 3 weeks. I don't regret keeping it short and sweet but I genuinely wish I could have drawn more characters. Everyone in this contest did a fantastic job and it made me so happy to see Wilma pop up when she did. Mr PR - Oh my Sugar sweet is the SWEETEST. Her making cupcakes for everyone was genuinely adorable and a really fun way to cameo some of your opponents. I loved the colour pallet here, it was very pleasing and added to the lines. Cab- I think it's neat how your comics build on your canon for "Void City" The Cabverse feels very well-released and distinct to me. The story itself is cute and fun, and the art has some real bright spots, especially in the expressions. Juxta- God where do I begin, this was so freaking good?? I felt stressed reading this (minorly relieved by Wilma being a homie) your writing is top-notch, you've got a great handling of tension and story flow, which made me feel like I was in Inez's head. The wind down at the end after she got eliminated was really enjoyable and made me want to keep reading the story...I was like yeah, but did the landlord like his garlic bread? (also Hurrah for Pinecone Winning!) Oh, I haven't even spoken about the art- it's FANTASTIC, I wanna study it. It's so competently drawn but you also had some fantastic "shots" eg- the panel of Inez looking at the oven, where the bowl and her wide eyes make an unsettling face. So, so good. I'm a fan. Jcee- For obvious reasons your comic made me very happy, thank you for including Wilma in your story!! It's got me grinning from ear to ear, I hope these two can hang out one day. This story was so charming, your art is lovely as always and it was nice to see a comic from the judge's point of view. Tieing in the baking show to the subject of food and nostalgia was nice. It's certainly something I could relate to! Just to go on a quick general tangent, I think Void has a bit of a "crunch time" culture where people produce staggering amounts of work in a short amount of time. More power to them, but it should be the exception, not the rule- so you have nothing to apologise for here, this comic is great and outside of void would be buckets of work to produce in the time frame. You should be proud!!

Submitted! I'm sorry to say but I had a rough time with this one. Falling sick at the tail-end was what forced me to cut much of it out, so a bunch of context is missing. I'm not very proud of my side, but I refused to submit nothing. That said, I look forward to seeing everyone else's sides!
