I meant to comment on this earlier but I like the characterization of both characters here. We get a good delve into Jacob but it never feels like we're being exposited at, and I think the use of literature clips with the flashback pages instead of narration is a big contributor to that. And Theakons line at the end where he admits he is the kind of man to kill someone implies an idea that he sees himself as a sort of necessary evil in a sense, which could be a great idea to explore further into if Itiz chooses to do so. I also get a kick out of the contrast between your depiction of Theakon as a particularly well read individual while Itiz's of Theakon as barely literate.

As always, you do a good job weaving a larger narrative for all of your comics. This one was no different, and I'm glad you got to flex some more fight scenes in this one! Hope to see how the Circus all ties together, and I wish you the best of luck managing your tale!

My sentiments are the same for you Cab, this was a nice comic and I'm invested more in what you've got to reveal about Jacob and the circus and all your other ideas!

It always gets me how you can pump out so many pages in such short time. Always a delight to read through and see how many characters I can recognize!

I had forgotten how good your inks were. It is good to see works from you again, Cab. I really liked the motiff of Good VS Evil going on with Theakon and his enemy. What with both being monks, yet sharing a different philosphy. How Theakon confronted Jacob about his inner monster is soemthing I quite enjoyed as well.

You two did great! and I will be sure to comment on each of your comics seperately. But as a whole, they both were fun reads and I really like the takes you two did for each other's characters. I'll go more in-depth in the individual comics but you two should be happy with what you have produced.

alas my faithful Cintiq of nine years died just as this battle begun, and while it took some time to set up a new rig, it was like learning to walk all over again so forgive my artwork if it looks funky at certain pages, its a new learning curve until I feel my sweet spot again.
