I must say that both of these comics were hard to follow. The Lotus comic simply seemed incoherent. The J.J. comic was just tough to follow, I didn't know which panel to look at next, was I supposed to look left?, right, up or down? It took a while to decipher each page.
ok im jumpin on the jj band wagon too, not just coz im a jj fan but the story and art work were really good, i loved the yellow tones used
QTR you did good too but it just wasnt as interesting as jj's tho the heimie cameo and the ending were classic!
Jing, that was indeed an awesome battle, something a little different from the norm which I enjoyed thoroughly. There were some minor grammar mistakes, but they didn't really stop the overall flow of the battle and you stayed very much in the ball park. The facial expressions were just brilliant. Ace stuff, sister!
QTR, as always your painting skills are great and are improving with everybattle. I didn't really understand what was going on in some of the pages, and I also felt that you could have done better with an establishing shot in the first page, cause it sorta feels like we're jumping right into the middle of the action.
Good stuff guys, and my vote goes in favor of JJ for this one.
Both battle were just awesome. My votes go to Jingu, however, because it was just amazing quality. QTR, as awesome as your painter is, there are spots where quality dips a bit, the last panel of page two, for instance. Still, beautiful work from the both of you, keep it up.
