Shen: you have a very polished look to your comics for this tourney and a v. dedicated pallet, too: it feels garish like candy, but without the sweetness. you have a lot of fluff at the beginning with your candyland kids, but this was a ton of space you could have better used to personify your characters' relationship to each other. Plask! did a great job of this in just one page. but I recon you really wanted to draw that castle and that is a worthy cause when most of us don't have time to do backgrounds in any of our tournaments, ever. i wasn't hooked on your characters right away, but by the end, you had my interest again with the sister realizing that, hey. maybe your brother REALLY ACTUALLY MIGHT HAVE real emotional problems. you def made prospero an interesting element in the story, if what we're going for is a dude so spooky it's kind of hot and hot enough to seduce another dude into coming to the dark side. a good set up for your characters for the next round for sure! PLASK! you started out strong with a nice, articulated art style and some interesting character interactions between the siblings. You got me hooked right away. but then the goalpost of intrigue kept wiggling around: who is going to dance with that prospero guy? and why? and like Jelly said, i didn't see mention of a red death anywhere before the end of your story :P But i'm happy to see you still tried and I'd be happier to see you come for more!

Man I really wanted to fight both these characters >:/ anyway Plask: I only really have two issues and both are pretty nitpicky. The first is that on page three, the box indicating the time skip should probably be near the top of the panel instead of the bottom. We naturally start in that top left corner so that's where Information that time has passed should be. That way we know that before we start reading the dialogue, because where it is, you don't get to is until after. My second issue is just that the pacing feels a bit strange. I think it would make sense to be told about the red death just before Wendy comes back with her nosebleed, instead of immediately after. If we're told what it is and what the symptoms are beforehand then when Wendy comes back with the nosebleed it's more of an "oh damn" moment. Just a few extra panels, maybe even just one, would probably do the trick. I know you said you ran out of time, though, so I understand the current state of things. That all being said I do love the premise of this comic. Prospero unwittingly becoming a walking pandemic is quite a conundrum, indeed. I'd definitely like to see where this goes next. Shen: I'll mirror what everyone else has said, the colors are fantastic. You use the high contrast between them excellently and it really hammers home the tone shift when Sully meets Prospero. I know you mentioned that you had a lot of trouble cleaning up your sketches because of the deadline but it really only seems obvious in one or two places, and even then it's usually just a single element that feels out of place. All in all, a solid showing

Shen: Yikes, Shen, you really sell the ultra sweet violence. Especially with that blue and red palette of colors. Get the feeling the sister is going to be the most troublesome. Plask: Aaah, an involuntary killer, cursed to sow death. Love these ones.

Shen: It was fun to see the dynamic between the siblings and Prospero's death and the events leading up to it were cool and ominous and the swiftness of the kill was also kind of darkly comical with how lightning fast it got carried out. Plask: Your Prospero was a sympathetic and pitiable figure and I'd like to know him better. Although, if he knew the severity of his illness and he felt remorse for Wendy's condition then why didn't he take the spread of his disease into better account?

Shen- As has been already said your color use was fantastic! I loved the interactions between your twins too. I like how different their perspectives are on their past and yet how they both clearly care for one another. The death was also very dramatic and the last panel blew me away. Plask- Yours was very poetic and I liked how you handled the deaths of both twins.

SHEN - Really liked the minimalistic palette you used, the colors pop out a lot! The panel where Prospero gets impaled is pretty cool! PLASK!- Great work on the character's expressions! There's something about that last bit of dialogue that made me dig the sudden ending a lot

Plask! I never read the poem, but I watched the Vincent Price movie of the Red Death. I really loved how you went about killing these characters with out Prospero even lifting a finger. Shen Those vibrant colors! I like how it goes from strongly blue to overly red!

rip I completely ran out of time, the last panels are pretty rough and condensed- anyways, Shen, your comic looks amazing! I loved the source-material references!
