you guys this was a match made in heaven. two such characters so similarly built and two OP art styles that look best in black and white. I was v. stoked for this battle! Rursus, I am so excited for your art style and the soothsayer character is so cool! I couldn't figure out your story very well. but if the twist was everything that happened before the last page was what was happening on the stage, that's pretty creative. I'll stay wondering where you were going with this. the characters just getting down to brass tacks and brawling really cut the fat though and the story feels complete. jelly: your pencil renders are so chewy. it must have been a personal challenge to include all the other characters and they look all so cute in your style! the interactions between soothsayer and caelan are v. nice drama, and i'm intrigued enough to ask what reason soothsayer HAS to have a PROBLEM with Caelan enough to be so direct about it, esp. as we are shown soon after, because Caelan is a violent person. you seem to have already learned how to pace your work out since the last tournament, so i want to encourage you to keep learning that skill! looking forwards to more from the both of you! (read: fight me)

Rursus: What a dashing miscreant. and an astonishing quality for a speed tournament. I'm also sad life got in your way, it looks like you could do so much with more time SirJelly: Christ's beard the number of pages! Be careful nonetheless to not neglect the quality, some pages are just sketches. I also love the idea that the royalty gang is all trying to survive together but will be falling apart as the deaths pile up.

Rursus: Everyone is in unanimous agreement that your inking skill is insanely good and you can count me among those folks. I'm kind of furious that you had to do 8 extra hours on top of a 40 hour work week, because I would have loved to have seen more of this comic and I'm really sorry it had transpired this way but what you gave to us was lovely in spite of these challenges. Jelly: You had your own set of challenges in the duration of this comics production but damn, hot damn, wow. 12 pages in one week. That's crazy. I like how uncritically everyone accepted Caelans status and ignored Soothslayers warnings.

The draftsmanship on both of these rounds were absolutely incredible!! RURSUS - I'll probably sound like I'm parroting the others, but your inking was definitely your forte in this. Very beautiful and elegant! I really digged the panel composition too! SIRJELLYRAPTOR - I am blown away by the pencil work. The dedications to the backgrounds, traps and cameos left me speechless. The movement in this was very tasty! Incredible work all around!!

Both of these were really well done! Rursus had beautiful inks and a nice concise action filled comic. Jelly your pencils continue to awe me and I enjoyed the cameos in the beginning of your comic. The usage of the traps led to a fun Indiana Jones like adventure and the ending was brutal yet beautifully done.
