I appreciate the comments everyone. To address yours, Snager - This tournament was really only ever intended to be slice of life themed since we wanted to establish Rickter and Dairyu as a couple, so I'm happy that the addition of this comic helped solidify that vibe. I hope it will show when more comics are made, but (personally) I want there to be a distinct difference between the dynamic they share and how they act around others. I might just be a sap for goofy romantics though. My only wish for Wispy is that Tiga isn't as naughty a kitten as Wispy is!

this comic helped concrete the idea that dairyu and rickter and gus are just doing a lot of slice of life stuff. i tried to borrow the whole vibe for our last round of the tournament. clearly, it's a strong principle that one must stick do firmly for it to carry. good luck to Wispy and all his endeavors in the future of his 9 cat lives! he's got enough fish to last almost 7 lifetimes!

Slice of Life comics are always such a treat to read. and you two did well with the relationship that both Dairyu and Rickter have going on here. The Paneling is awesome and I just love the colors. Great job and hope to see more in the near future
