desdemonical: the structural gimmick of this comic is super good! engaging and cool, builds a little mystery and suspense. i'm not entirely sure what venus did to become visible at the end, and considering it didn't impact the comic i almost wish she hadn't, but this is still a great comic! drakkel: you've got a gorgeous style, you throw in some inspiring compositional choices, and venus is such an immensely fun character u_u great work, no complaint whatsoever!

Drakkel: Okay first of all, when I first read both of these babies and finished, my thought was "damn that was a really good short comic" so I still maintain this. It's brief and to the point and goofy and the screentones are nice. DES: BRIBING ME WITH QUICKSILVER, UNDERHANDED! Of course I'm kidding. Anyways, congratulations on doing the opposite of what Drakk did and doing like 7 pages in a week and all of them being very substantial and not a whole lot of anything wasted. Sorridega talking to the ghost of her father packed a lot of weight and was very poignant and I quite liked it, even if it wasn't particularly difficult for anyone besides Venus to understand (as it is Ssortge's past that is the focus). The action is very fluid and the punchline of Sorridega being able to see Venus at the end is nice silly fun. REGARDLESS OF OUTCOME, I SHARE THE SENTIMENT WITH EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE COMMENTS THAT I WANT TO SEE MORE FROM BOTH OF YOU.

Such a fun matchup! I want more!!

-DES: Your compositions within each panel, especially those that utilize Sorridega's smoke, ARE AMAZING. The apple cutting sequence on the first page is also so great :D. Great work, I love these guys' dynamic! -DRAKK: I LOVVE Venus's personality. That sudden turn of events at the last page was so funny and well done ^_^. Nice use of screentones as well throughout the whole thing.

Des: Loved the writing! You gave plenty of time to let each character shine, with a twist I didn't see coming. Also liked your choice to have the characters(for the most part) stay on one side of the page, mirroring their experiences. Very cool! Drakk: The layouts are fantastic! You lead the eye through the page fluidly with the art, the panels, and the lettering. Tight story and good contrast with your inks. Great job!

Drakk this was so much fun! haha i love the way you draw our galls interacting. I also love how quickly Venus forgives Sor; I was expecting a sudden draconian beatdown!

DES: This was a really heartwarming piece with a well-executed twist in it, your dialogue is, as ever, fantastic - and don’t think I didn’t notice a certain immortal cowboy in there! DRAKK: You struck gold with your panel work in this - it’s is some of the most creative panel separation I’ve seen in a while. You’ve also got great background detail in the back of each panel making it a joy to read!
