not to be too real, but this comic was even more chaos than mine own, so I wasn't able to follow it. you've bested me, diz.

In response to backgrounds, they’re in the void of the backstage so backgrounds will come but I can understand the want to see more and I’d like to deliver more. As for the reference to Amelia vs 9-5, that was a goof up on my part. I used the same joke in Cortez v 9-5, not Amelia v 9-5 so that was just a writing snafu that I should have been more careful of. As far as the self deprecation, I’ll keep that in mind but I’m mostly just poking harmless fun at myself for making admittedly overly complicated backstories and settings, but I can see how that humor isn’t for everyone.

I don't understand how that joke was a reference to Amelia Fey vs 9to5 :\ I also don't super love the self-deprecating digs. Saying you're a bad writer isn't funny to me, it just feels mean. You've created fun characters, and even if there are areas you can improve, answering any criticism with "I'm just a bad writer" just feels bad man. The art in this comic was fun, but the humor was a miss for me. I preferred when Kuddles was just moidering! I'm invested in her story either way! Sorry if this post was a bit of a downer, I just don't like reading negative stuff like that 😭
