Pita: Going back and re-reading this, I could've sworn it was more than a single page :0 Which is a good thing, I think, because it means the story felt complete and not rushed! Your art's so clean and nice to look at, with everything just kind of feeling soft and cute :D That said, I don't think I fully got that Corn was supposed to be dead until you mentioned it in the discord--I don't know if that's just me not picking up on the cues you left, or the cues not being obvious enough? Either way though I think the story still works more or less, and I feel for Beo :( Nothin: AAAAAAA once again, just. POOR BEO why you gotta hurt this boy like this aaaaaaa. I love the text messages slowly dissolving into typo riddled messes, and like Jade said I like the idea of not knowing entirely if Avie is in Beo's head or if she's actually there. I think I would've liked to have seen a liiiiittle more in the backgrounds, even if only just like a smidge of brick texture (like in the last panel of page 2) or else maybe some light cloudy/foggy effects? I also think the last page could've been pulled back a bit more to show more clearly where Corn is, cuz as is I thought he was just in the same alley as Beo and got confused initially as to why he seemingly couldn't see Beo. also I love the way you draw paws :D

I love how warm Pita's comic was and how emotional lucky's was! they both were very compelling

PITA- This was so lovely, for feeling a bit tired from the last round you still have a really solid short story here!!! It says everything it needs to and I love how "quiet" it feels nearing the end panels. Great work :D LUCKY- AGAIN! The transition from the last set is so good here and it's cool to see how some panels mirror the ones from the previous. I admire how you give Avie such a PRESENCE on the pages here and I'm living for it. Great work!

PitaSuch a sweet little comic! Avie is the perfect fluff ball for a sad boy to cry on 🥺 I think the emotional impact of the comic didn't quite hit home because Beo felt like a bit too much of a woobified version of himself instead of feeling solidly like the character Lucky has written, which in turn I think reduced him to a concept rather than an actual character. It's still sweet to think of the concept of comforting someone grieving a loved one, but it would have hit a little harder if it felt like MY Beo, the sweet ball of nerves and angst we've come to know and love, was grieving. I could be completely off-base with this, so take my advice with a grain of salt, but that's sorta where I'm coming from with this. Regardless, it was a really nice comic, with beautiful expressions, pretty colors, and immaculate linework as always! I think you're perfectly suited to work with this fluffy sphinx, and I'm so glad we get to see more of her! Can't wait to kick your ass next round 😈 LuckyI loved this! If anything, it ended before I was ready for it to be over >:[ The page with Beo breaking down and all of the art breaking down with it was 😚👌 masterful! The whole latter half of the comic being more sketchy instead of full inks worked really well for me. It left me with a feeling of not being sure if the appearance of Avie was literal or all in his head. I like that you captured the "hates everyone" part of her bio and made that a catalyst for Beo. I can't help but see it all as a metaphor for anxiety and other mental illnesses, which obviously has me extra invested. I guess if I had to say anything about this comic that could be improved, it's that the last page felt underwhelming compared to the excellent composition and use of contrast in the rest of the comic. Regardless, this was a really great comic, and you captured my interest (although I've always been invested in Beo's story haha). Can't wait for round 3!!!

PITA- That was both heart-breaking and heart warming. Avie's inner monologue was really damn good, the expressions were great also! NOTHIN- I adore your artstyle, the shapes and flow of the body is like a feast for the eyes. The direction you took this round goes perfectly with Beo's emotional distress too, very delicious round!

BEO, MY SWEET BABY. I loved the style you used in yours, Lucky, and how you portrayed Avie, it was beautiful. Your style was very cute and sweet, Pita. My heart breaks for Beo.

I like the style Pita. Wouldn't have been mad if it was even more homey and nostalgic, like the moomin inspiration. can't help but imagine Avie struggling to slurp soup from that bowl. this isn't the story I was imagining. I kind of thought the two creatures would have a romp in the woods and reconnect to some kind of Icelandic troll mythology vibes. but Good Soup. lucky, i love the way you draw that tiger bod. seeing how traumatized Beo is from everything is pretty hard core. the story having an on-going plot between rounds is a real challenge and i'm eager to see you pull it off! it's kind of strange to see how two people imagine their characters (or borrowed characters) interacting. one person thinks they'd get along, the other sees their character isn't open. wild. good work you guys.

i tried something new with the styling this time around, i hope peeps enjoy the continuing plot

Last round took a lot out of me, so we're going simple in composition, design, and story. Don't expect too much from me this time around.
