Celif is a trashy treasure.
this has a good gritty feel to it and helps serve as a quick bridge between battles
same as flytee i think the paneling could be more chaotic like the beginning throughout to help with the urgency.
also I need that city building brush.
Wanna start off by saying I absolutely ADORE Celif, bird-brained bastard is definitely someone I would love to battle against one day!
The gritty sepia-nearing tones really suit his overal grungey/filthy atmosphere, and a in-comic look at his griffon was something I long wanted!! Good stuff, short simple n sweet <3
The chaos continues, I love what you're doing with this character. I'm curious to see what trouble he gets into next.
I loved all the background details, the final panel on page two was a particularly excellent (and gross!) use of spot blacks! As always I'm a huge fan of how you draw expressions and body language.
Crit wise I think some of the paneling here could have been work-shopped.
- I like the concept behind the first 3 panels of page 1, but it felt a bit constrained, I think you could've punched up the feeling of nausea and faintness (I'm guessing that's the intention) by changing up the sizes & shapes of the panels & overlapping them with the SFX themselves.
-The big black space on page 3 didn't feel intentional. Having the text cascade down the page might've helped with this...though honestly ideally enlarging the one panel you did have by extending the skyline would have been perfect and made this moment feel even more impactful.

I read the first Rat with Wings and the scar match with Lilyfeather before going into this one, and it's a vast improvement. I doubt he's going to want to change so quickly, but think I want to hitlist this man specifically because of his dirty deeds.
Celif is such a garbage bird, and I love it. I'm really interested in how he'll continue with a bad hand and the cops now after him! I always love how expressive you make everyone, and I really like the monochrome coloring!

BOYYYYYY, no amount of febreez is gonna hide that smell, how does he stand it? Well I guess it doesn't matter since hes homeless now! Excellent monochromes, delightfully grimy. No crits at the moment, just lovin this! Cant wait to see what happens to him next!
