It's funny how much of Void lore I learn whenever I read your comics, and it's impressive how you fire off jokes like a machine gun. Hey Cab, Petty Officer you have done it again Constantly raising the bar for the Void and doing it foolishly I'd say I'm surprised but I know who you are I've seen up close and personal, I know who you are Listen here I don't like you I am now Going To bark at you - [real review tomorrow] OK so It's always such a trip to see how Cab is going to spew out 2-3 times as many pages as whomever he's going against and see how he then pads out all that information. you expect it to be an interaction between newcomer Cowbell and Cab's character Shaw, who doesn't have much of a back log. but then it turns into a whole CHAPTER by chapter story about Shaw, A grungy super hero, weaving himself into the tapestry of Void City lore, with Cowbell as a plot mover and background character. If I didn't know better, I'd think he was one of Cab's ocs, along with the drunk Shakespeare professor (provocateur is such a good word, this shit educational) and the lady with the only fans page (it shows a considerable degree of discretion in not calling her service 'voidly fans' or something.) I liked the story. I've been on void a little over a year and have picked up a lot of lore and made friends with some of the people whose characters were involved. Sorry I ruined the surprise by asking Heathen about Hieme Crystals. may have even spoiled the next part of the story with what he informed me about them. but the line about smile fucking bigger dudes in prison Had To Be Confirmed. I was able to catch on to the plot easier than with some of your other stories, perhaps because the way you introduce elements and characters was so much more gradual than previously executed. Art wise, I think you knew you would be going against someone who does a lot of physical humor and pin up characters and you clearly said to yourself ‘ah, finally, an excuse to draw all these muscles. This is what it’s all about, people.’ You even tried to do some extreme close up compositions like what Kilcra is all about. (ie, the erection panel). The result is something very horny, which was I think what you were going for, so congrats. You climbed this whole gay mountain. Kilcra: buckle up. We told you it would be like this. T-T Cab always writes these huge long, involved and inter-woven stories and he always smashes a ton of drawings into every page and when he runs out of room on that page to smash in drawings, he goes to the next one, like it's nothing. he goes and goes until the time limit is up and what ever amount of space he filled before is the plot. And there is always Plot. when we battle someone, we tend to try to raise up to what ever we perceive their level in each of their own skills to be while also showcasing what we think we can beat them at. you did a good job of balancing this. your deal is thought out and dynamic illustrations, lovingly articulated anatomy, trumped up emotional states and bizarre bullshit, like naming one of the characters a screen name from an alt-right anime board. This seems oddly personal and I'd like to hear the back story on why this choice was made. you included a lot of background characters, not as many as Cab, but made them much more integral to the story. I don't know if you and cab discussed it like 'hey, lets each make a cool and memorable homeless side character that Shaw can avenge or protect,' but you did a real intriguing one with the Phoenix witch. it was strange to see you put so much energy into her just to have her full on die in one page. I think you got into your head too much, concerning yourself with how you were going to do justice to a Cab Battle. But you did fine! All your elements and what you wanted to have happen are very strong beats, strung together with efficient transitions. You said you’re here to learn to make comics and clearly you are fulfilling that goal. Just keep trucking! And don’t be afraid to ‘lose’ the ‘game’ we’re playing on Void. Taking on opponents with a different vibe than your own is the best way to learn! Keep it up, guys

Dude this battle was insane!!! I simply love the crazy interaction between Cowbell and Show in BOTH comics and honestly it is really hard to pick a winner but sadly it must be done. This is just a spectacular showing from Both Kilcra and Cab!!! it was kinda funny cause I did see quite a bit of both pages but now I have context XD Cab: Solid story telling from beginning to end and I really enjoyed the build. These 3 chapters that you did could probably been their own battle entry but it feels like you had one overarching plot with a bit of character development which was really awesome! Love the art too and the possible lead into Lithium, can't wait to see how things pan out there Kilcra: Your art is great as always although I loved the destruction of that car. The Paneling was super duper and it was a very fun read!!! That ending has me hooked to see the next entry which I hope it comes in the near future!!! Also love the line of "My Car! My BALLS". I don't know why but I was cracking up seeing that. You two did amazing and deserve some rest.
