Risk ratings are determined by three factors, how well a character fights, how much influence they have in the city, and how much of a threat is to the company. Slack has a good reputation with the city's residents, and posses the a book that can alert the genreal public of the company's operations. People trust Slack, so if he's says that there's a secret organization illegally testing weapons on Void Fighters, they'll believe him. Slack's Risk Rating: S+ It wasn't really a fight, so i felt the Risk Rating unnessicary on this one.

By the bye, Kura, if you really are curious, Veronica's rated as Honorable. She hasn't really involved anyone other than her opponents in her battles, and that's all it takes for \"honorable\" status. Does Slack think she's good, or trustworthy? No. He sees her as a villian waiting to happen, actually. But it takes harming civilians in Void battles to get on either of the short lists. That said, I am kind of curious to know Slack's risk rating. Admittiedly, I doubt it's high, but I AM curious.

Joe: cool fight, it was a lot more detailed and finished-looking than your previous fights, even if it was in pencils. There are times, however, that things look a little off, like the third to last panel in page two is a tad confusing posture-wise, and the worm's-eye-perspective panel in page three didn't seem quite right. Still, great improvement and I love the cliffhanger. Kura: Awesome work with your storytelling skills. Loving the new hair and it's great to see Veronica without the dress. ::evil grin:: The rendering was sweet, and the contrast really set the mood. My big thing was the last panel, though. Shiratori looks out of place against the super-dark background, maybe enhancing her line-weight would do the trick? Great job, my vote goes to you.

I wanted to portray that the first page she was talking to Shiratori throught a computer screen. Once again i failed at that. >_> Joe: Great improv with the dress, drawing it is a pain even for me. Gaining acess to the lab is a very critical thing for Veronica, since she's supposed to keep it hidden, I think the trophy is fine (since that's what we had to decide on). Sorry i had to change up my scripting on the last minute. I had to make it flow from the CS vs Koba fight and then to the upcoming Facade vs Kure fight.

Kura, your storytelling for the most part was very strong, though the jump from page one to page two was a bit confusing. Suddenly Slack was just there and the guy with the glasses was not. Perhaps a caption box saying something like ,\"Later that day\" on top of page two would have cleared that up a bit. The art was pretty good. The proportions looked off in several panels and you should practice working on how clothing folds on people. On the plus side your panel layouts were nicely done. Joe, your artwork has improved a lot since you started. You seem to be taking more time, especially with the shading. ON the negative side, your characters all look very stiff. Also despite there being a lot of action it's all layed out in a fairly dull fashion. Try to add deeper angles. Think of films you've seen where people are fighting. They just don't set up a camera and have people fight in front of it. They get it from many angles and perpectives. The storytelling was good, though I don't feel like you're taking full advantage of the Trophy Match. Trophy Match to me is winning something from a character that helps define that character. Like Crazy Bee's mask, Ayumi's shirt or Bragg's hair piece. Losing some lab space at a company doesn't really matter to Veronica's character.

Kura: First off, props to Veronica's new look. I'm loving the hair now since it looks much better and it'll be easier for everyone to draw. There wasn't much action in your comic, but it makes up for it in storyline. Your use of simple backgrounds is effective, and it's something I should pick up on. I'm still one of those that feels that color would make this much better, but other than that it's a cool piece. Joe: You put in a lotta detail on this one, and I think that's cool. And it was a great idea to give Veronica ribbons when she didn't have fans. You still need some work on those face angles, since in some of the panels they look very distorted and flat. I also felt that the panels you chose really didn't leave much room for the fight, but it's still good. Overall though, I'd have to give this one to Veronica. The storyline just flowed better for me in this case. Anyways, those are my two cents.
