Another comic I thought I commented on but did not! I’m so sorry!! I can’t believe I missed this, I’ve been itching to see the story continue and now I’m like woahhhhh
I whooshed through these pages, your writing is very engaging, as is the situation you put Rae in. I’m glad you’re not forcing yourself to continue on a comic you’re struggling with, and using other methods but dang it! I wanted to know more and see how Rae escaped! I also wanna learn more about who Blue was; it was super cool to see her former self revealed, and Mariko is a lovely name. I’m not sure if I’ve said it before, but I also love how you draw her? Her gestures, her expressions, her floaty ghost tail, she’s just great. I liked the reveal that she was still in Void City too, it felt very natural. I also loved the portrayal of the cult’s hideout, the use of dark red made it feel very oppressive. I’m gushing at this point lol, overall I just really enjoyed this!
I have a couple of minor issues here, the first being Blue’s expression on panel 2 page 2. She looks like she’s going “aw” at something cute rather than being shocked at seeing her grave, I think because her eyes just look upturned and there’s no slant to them. It really lessened the impact for me. Also perhaps get someone to proofread before finalising? I noticed at least three typos (or... writeos? since they’re handwritten? haha) such as “cemetary” and “presense”.
Bruh I'm super intrigued about this story and where it's gonna go! Plus, that felt like a perfect chapter break, so to speak. Rae's internal monologue was great imo, and you do a really good job at building both suspense and mystery! also the panel with the dragon fighters flying over Blue was the BEST lol

The storyline is well done, and I probably haven't read all your comics to understand how Blu had gotten separated with Rae? Idk, that might be on me. But the situation Rae's in is so devilish. Good intentions with hinting it might be a bad idea. I would've love to see you finish the rest of this comic, and am hella looking forward to see whats in store in the future.

This is a great comic, you have a consistent quality with your characters. My favorite thing is seeing the grave something about seeing it and the idea that Blue died at only 19 years old really hits hard. Also your color schemes changing for different scenes is really nice. I don't have any specific crits on it.
This is beautiful, and my literal only issue with it is that the text is sometimes small and hard to read. But I really enjoy your handwriting, and it fits your style so well!
oooh so much good stuff happening with Rae and Blue on their separate journies! I love their attitudes, which Blue's optimism and Rae's sense of foreboding. Can't wait to see where this story goes next! (and dont worry about making an apology page- just keep giving us more comics! <3)

And although you couldn't finish part 2 like you wanted, it will be interesting to see their story develop and show what happened through battles!

Good stuff!! The beginning with Blue discovering her grave is so somber, the tone is just really nice. I’m super curious to know more about the cult, and about how Rae escaped them, if you get a chance to delve further in future battles! The leader (Hendrix, right?) is super ominous, very eerie, the deep red is a nice color choice for those scenes inside the cult’s hideout. I’m excited to see more of these two, the story you’ve been weaving has definitely grabbed my interest!!
