Boogi - Oh man, I feel silly suggesting you try the sketchy style in my previous comment only to realise you already tried that out here! And tbh I dig it! It’s a little messy at times but I think it looks much nicer than your usual colouring style. Like Arts said, the hatching and clothing folds are particularly nice. It’s a lot easier on the eyes too. I’m left unsure of what actually happened here though. The events... just seem kind of disconnected? Quint and Egg Dealer seem to shift gears super fast, for example. Quint jumping from a very casual attitude to grandiose to “actually I was terrified the whole time”, Egg Dealer going from... well egg mania to thinking about his Queen and letting Quint go. I also have no idea what the ending is about, why the egg is just dragging Dealer away and talking about this “Reveleggtion”. Symon - Really liked those city scenes on page 3, particularly that long silhouette in the first panel. This lineless style is really interesting and you pull it off well, those egg puns were great, and kudos on the flashback scene. It was instantly clear to me that Quint was a child here due to his proportions, and even without the note telling me it was a flashback, I would have understood. The story felt quite weak to me though. Quint goes along so easily with being trapped in a giant egg, and the robot guy showed up out of nowhere, seemingly just to show off Quint’s powers. The recap page also felt redundant to me. You give us all this background and then show it anyway via a flashback; you only need one or the other, not both. A lot of the information wasn’t needed to understand the story either. His meetings with Grita and Doc_Sic for instance have no impact or mention on the story, so why tell us about them? In general I think it’s best to avoid long recaps at the beginning of comics. If reading prior ones is absolutely necessary to understand the current one, I’ve seen the use of asterixes by any dialogue mentioning earlier events, and then a footnote showing which comic they’re from.

First off. Thank you BoogidiBzdo for the extension. It helped a ton with given circumstances. I really think Egg Dealer and Quint could have been co-workers at some point. Stocking aisles and squeezing toilet paper rolls before napping in a pile of them. Egg Dealer and Darling have such humorous interactions. The beards make the best beds. I really loved how Quint tries his darndest to turn Egg Dealer for the forces of good but Darling is not having it. The last panel of page nine was my favorite, Quint being accosted by Darling with Egg Dealer's gleeful face beside, brilliant. Reminded me of Laurel and Hardy or Farley and Spade. I enjoyed your character highlights and eye's they really bring out the life in your art. Chances are these two will cross paths again! Flytee[spoiler]Thank you so much for your comment. Great improvement from both sides of you, great job and keep at it. Boogidi: I like the personality of your pencils and the clothing folds are interesting with the hatching you're doing. I do also like the story in this how it's different from your others, you have been working on changing it up which is good. I like how you drew Quint in this, it feels more consistent compared to previous characters you have done. Great job improving on this. Symon: Great job on working on the faces they are much better in this. The 2nd panel on page 8 has my favorite face as it's clearly sculpted out. Others brought up the font but I quickly wanted to bring up the word bubbles, I personally don't like the look of the drop shadow you gave them. A simple solid black border would work better since the drop shadow makes it feel like they're trying to blend into everything else resulting in an awkward look. but those are easy fixes and this linesless style you have been doing is really nice, keep it up.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah, I know I should really work on my writing, I admit I’ve been neglecting to do that. I realize it’s important to practice both the art and the writing, so far I’ve been treating the writing part almost like a subordinate part to the comic, but they are really equally important. Thanks to everyone for helping me realize this... now the hard part comes: practice and study writing. @Symon_Says: Your side was awesome! A lot of great action that was cool to look at and I liked how you depicted Egg Dealer. It was also cool to see how Quint’s story progressed. Thank you very much for this battle! :)

Boo - I really love your inking here! I think it really works and you indeed improved a lot since! Again, Egg Dealer always leaves me confused and baffled. While that can be cute and quirky for the most part, it does make it hard to get invested in his story. I'd still read anything with Egg Dealer though! Symon - I love Quint's personality. And the Egg puns made me chuckle all throughout! I'd have to echo Flytee's comment about the font. It's a bit too 'fancy' like something that should be reserved for machine talk or something not used all throughout. Great job on both!

boogi- I love that panel with the menu on pg 2, the shading is nice here too. I haven't been on void that long, but your art's already improved in this span on time. Though I'm afraid the more I read about Eggdealer....the more I struggle to get engaged. It might be interesting if you shook things up in the future, instead of sticking with the current fomula. (ED stumbles across an opponent, egg-based weirdness happens, it suddenly ends). quint- Starting with what I liked, because there was a lot to like here - You have a super unique art style and some of the panels here were really great. I love that sequence at the start of page 13, the dream scene was also really well done and suitably mysterious. Quints a likeable character, he came across as a fast-talking jokester, it felt like a good match up with a zany character like Eggdealer. They had a fun dynamic, the egg puns where on point. As for crit, a couple of things spring to mind. Firstly I don't think the font works, its a bit to bold and takes attention away from your artwork. A lot of these panels also felt cramped, it wasn't always easy to follow what was going on as a result. Maybe zoom out more to show the scene at its fullest. I've been given this advice in the past, I personally found it helpful.
