whoops i forgot to read this ;_;
Gregly: excellent excellent excellent <3!!! i feel like this is a step up in some sense but i dunno i might just be blinded by being happy to see these two again :v the action scene, at least, is super dynamic, and the crosshatching works well! and i'm glad regi finally got some repairs!!
Energy: I know comments from me don't really make you happy, so I'll keep it short and positive. There were a few poses here I was pretty impressed by! Like Gwen's at the bottom of page 8. It looks like her head's tilted a bit, which really adds life to the scene, even if not intended. I also appreciate you trying line width variation, although the fact that you only have two widths and switch straight from one to the other is a bit distracting. I don't remember if you have a tablet or not though, so that might not be avoidable. Polish the sword and keep at it!
Gregly: Cute and charming work as always! Every time I read your comics, it’s like seeing an episode out of a show on Cartoon Network. I also really like the rivalry you gave to Gwen and Kazue. I agree that the white boxes/visible unerased lettering beneath the text are a tad distracting, but maybe next time you could clean them some up.
Energy: I know you’ve been told this before, but your characters seem to be so angry over everything and even blaming their troubles on the same reason. I want to see Kazue stop beating herself up, take the advice that’s been given to her and move forward. Show us her being happy, working through her losses and growing/becoming stronger for it.
Energy: the inks here are better than you have done in your previous comics and I like that you're working on changing up the poses more. In terms of story you should try showing your characters being happy for once, even people in bad situations can have good moments and the most important part is moving forward.
Grelgy: I like how you gave her potion magic now and how Regi is now fixed and improved. the marker colors here are a bit messy but I do like them and want to see you try them some more, maybe edit it with some photoshoping. Also the purley white boxes are a bit distracting and I feel you can try to fill them with some other lighter markers which you do in some of them but not all. You're writing is always enjoyable and I do like this interaction, the rivalry brought out a part of Gwen's character that hasn't been shown in the recent comics you have done with them.
Energy: I second Shen. I really want to see where she moves to based on her past.
Gregly: Oooh, awkward! Gwen's design goes so well with a visible marker look. It's so charming and sweet, with a real innocence to it that the analog medium enhances.
energy: I hope Kazue learns something from Gwen and Regi in your story. Your characters are all so angry all the time, it would be nice to see someone work on their personal demons and take advice from other characters to try to improve their lives, rather than wallow in past misfortunes.
Gregly: Adorable as always! I love the magical girl rivalry! Gwen getting into potion making is a really clever idea, love a good old fashioned magical girl throwdown lol. I love the traditionals, but theres a lot of messy places where the marker streaked or the pencils werent entirely erased under the lines, i feel like some photoshop tweaking could have maybe fixed some of that. Otherwise, as always the writing is spot on and your style is energetic and appealing! Always love to see you in a battle!
4p- pretty intense little scene. The facial consistency here is better then it has been in past comics.
Gregly- charming art and writing as usual, I'm such a fan of your work! I really liked the idea of Gwen replacing her magic with potions, that was a cool twist. Crits pretty minor- the colouring looked a bit rushed at times and it would've been nice to see the pencils rubbed out more.
