Hrmmmm... man if these were tweaked here or there, my votes\'d be a different story. I chuckled to myself at Sleeman\'s Bad Day (especially with the Redblood Phill appearance), and Mjolinir was just great to LOOK at--but I was starved for dialogue on that one, while Sleeman\'s, while funny, was a bit short and I think the cameo thing is starting to wear thin on me... I dunno. I guess I still give the nod to a finished work, but there is an auspicious power in Wei. Fear it.

Ah, I see... so that\'s why I only see it on fighters who\'ve fought recently, it only applied to those who got extensions after the new system was implemented. It makes sense now, thanks.

I like your style Wei, the detail gives it a gritty feel that suits this matchup quite well. Just wish you could\'ve had the time to clean it up a little more... maybe next time.
On Chunk\'s side, I was hoping for a little more Mjollnir considering this is a rematch, but it was pretty funny stuff-- loved the checklist bit. The inks are looking good too.
...Is it just me, or are both fighters one rank lower than the average scores seem to suggest? (Mjollnir Rank D at an average of over 6, Bragg Rank C when average is over 7) Why is that?

I like how we both have Sleeman using a notebook and making lists

I know Wei was under severe time constraints so there\'s not a lot I can say about that one. Definitely coulda been cleaner, though you told a good story without dialogue.
Chunk, really enjoyed this one. Loved the Mechanic cameo, cracked me up. Overall it looked good and flowed really well.

It\'s amazing how much you pushed out in such a time crunch Wei.It\'s pretty good for no dialogue. With a little more time on your hands I\'m sure you could\'ve ripped my asshole open... I\'m glad you like my comic too...It wasn\'t as much as I wanted, but time was limited and I had to cut a couple of pages from my original concepts...prolly gonna add them to a Beyond Battle story.
I\'d appreciate if more people left comments...I\'d really like to know what people thought and if I\'m going in the right direction.

I give my votes to Chunk, becuase his was finished and had some very clean inks. Still, Wei had some pretty nice pencil work, regardless. Wish you had time to finish, I\'m sure it would have been hot.

Wei- Interesting use of going textless. The creases on the pages were distracting. The smudging was ugly. It was basic back and forth hitting, what else can I say? It needed to be cleaned up.
Chunk- Loved your panel layout, laughed at the furry hate and the \'on fire\' joke, the reaction panel to that one was great. Your fight is very clean looking.

I second the notion of making the annual encounter official. Gotta payback Bragg for that gnarly scar Wei. Rock!
