Wasabi, I love the Jhonnen Vasquez influence! Confident and competent work from you! AND I SOOO DIG UR \'SWANKY ROE\'! The character concept is great!! And his sleazy/slimy humor is a huge added bonus!! Definitely one of my new favorite characters!
Virulain, u gotta do sumfin bout that scanner... the beauty of ur natural mediums are being murdered!! From wats on display ur art is visually quirky and detailed! Narrative was hard to follow, as said by that guy and the guy after him. But u definitely have a curious character there as well. I love the \"Gender: male-ish\"

Banshee, banshee. I actually like your colouring style. It could however use some refinement (I see some potential for awesome srtwork here). A lot of your forms are getting lost. Consider trying a bit (not too much) of a stronger line around them. It doesn\'t have to be black (it could even just be a darker version of a local colour), but it should at least aid in giving more definition to your shapes. Also, you would benefit from not using CG backgrounds as they do not mesh very well with your colouring.
Swanky, you certainly have a handle on the black and white world. It actually has a eyebrow raised from me. Keep it up.
Storywise, I found Banshee\'s story to be a touch incoherent at times notwithstanding how she speaks. Swanky\'s was off the wall, but I could still follow it without having to reread anything.

both your fights were so random, not saying its a bad thing
but mostly its the panel work, doesnt make for a clear reading
other than that, loved the colors on banshee, but it did get a little cluttered at times
swanky good first battle, liked the jokes (again very random)i had no trouble following what was going on
al in all, i loved banshee\'s style and art, but swanky won me over

Banshee - I love the dialogue, quite entertaining. Nice art, I especially like the rendition of Swanky.
Swank - I like your style, it\'s nice and clean. I heart undead goose.

(sequels of devastation?) One day I will have a scanner that does not decimate my reds. Haha! Yeah, you\'re DEVASTATING me with your hilarious inks.

Uh-oh, Vir. I smell a sequel!
Anywho, awesome work as always. And, as always, I envy your coloring skizzles. It\'s really too bad your scanner suffers from suck-itis. Regardless, this was a great fight! It\'ll be close, I say...

Damn, this could not be a battle between two more different yet equally awesome fighters.
Wasabi: your fight was freakin\' hilarious, and your style is the perfect match for it. I wanna see you take on Hiemie or Dumas for the Comedic Cup sometime! Love the Scooby Doo ref, Mr. Jenkins LOL
Virulain: OMG, I can\'t believe you managed to get that all colored and done in the time frame! And so professionally! Wicked rendition of Roe, that was pretty slick. My vote goes to you, but just barely.

Cool fight sboth of ya!
Banshee, ur fight was a little hard to follow at times and got a bit too cluttered. Nice artistic feel ya got going there.
Swanky, i\'m liking the thick lines and shit. Reminds me of Invader Zim.
Good luck both of u

I have to say that this was an awesome learning experience. Definitely served to get me out of the funk I\'d been in with advancing my art techniques. I\'ll try to lift my quality levels next time--give myself a little more time on the battles, and definitely not carry the pages around in anything less than a pimpin\' ride of total comfort and safety. There\'s only so much that the scanner can do, though. So if anything--I enjoyed this and I improved. WOO! Looking forward to my Lotus battle.

Uploaded (finally).
I had some extra time, so I made an intro and an outro page in addition to the four pages of story. Just some goofy stuff. For future reference, I will ALWAYS try to include a final BIZARRO page (for a cheap single-panel situation that would never happen) if time allows... Hell, I\'ve already got the Swanky vs. Epo one all planned out... Mwuhahaha!
Oh, and sorry in advance for the poor quality of a few panels on the second (first story page) and fifth (last story page) pages. Overall, though, I think it turned out pretty OK.

Whoop. Almost to the halfway point. I must say, Vir\'s comic is looking pretty tight thanks to her mad coloring skizzles. Plus, Swanky totally gets a pimp cane. BITCHIN, Vir!
As far as mine goes, the penciling junk is pretty much done. It\'s kinda cute in it\'s own inchoherent, cop-out battle kind of way (you\'ll see). The hardest part was deciding what \"spooky\" facet of media I should parody.
Oh dear. These comics will be strange.

I am all about riding the shit.
For future reference for all of you, the text in Banshee\'s bubbles won\'t be due to poor editing or lack of grammatical skill. That\'s how she speaks, and I try to use vernacular and onomatopoeic script. Thanks, love.

Oi, Vir. You\'re really riding my shit with this two week, four page thing. I mean, birthday this week, Halo max-out the next. It\'s psychological warfare, I say! For shame! I blame my previous arrangements on YOU!
Hehehe... good luck, mean lady.
