and Daku, by rule your borders I mean-Define them against the line art inside them-Dont let the pencil lines break the borders unless your characters or other elements of the art is breaking the panel for a reason.Inking your pencils and spoting your solis blacks would go a long way to improving your story telling.

I agree-I liked your pacing alot- It has a great deal of energy- and your panel layouts were clean and dynamic. Knifes is a cool character and carries all the good qualiteis of manga. I look fo=ward to seeing your next battle.

Daku, i love the design as always. And it's getting clear you really like to blast your way through. Maybe more pages would've worked better, but you might've not had the time or something, keep it up.

Knifes, great dynamics. Sometimes the panels are kinda dazzling or crowded with so many lines i have to stare at it to tell what's happening, Advantage of staring is looking better at the image. I dig the character. Dying to see the next fight.

trp, you really have a good grasp of paneling and angles. simple and uncluttered, everything looks neat and easy on the eye. the last few pages were intense too. great job. if u were to improve anything, it would have to be in the story department, though i myself am totally content with ur story here. if u wanna up your stuff even more, try different settings, more unique background, doesnt have to be detailed to death, just somethign different. but for now, ur boss

Man, all I gotta say is KICK.  ASS.  Knifes was perhaps one of the most proffesional fights I've ever seen here, and Daku has finally put forward a comic that looked a bit different.  A lot has already been said, so all I offer is kudos to you both!!

Well, if your Creative score is below 7.5, then somebody obviously put there expectations too high!

Kainsword: Line art is looking better, but I'm still seeing the same things as I've normaly seen in your last battles, character has a daku style to them. And you should consider using a ruler and pencil on the backgrounds before you ink them. Still, looking alot better than normal.

TRP86: I'm gonna tear into ya like a wolf on a steak!!! No seriously, art is supurb by void standards, I couldn't find anything worth picking apart (and the things that I picked previously was changed! You've got instant respect from me 10x baby!!). Um... lets see... if anything, I think that maybe there should of been an explanation as to why Daku challanged Knifes in your battle, maybe an extra page showing that somebody offered her something to fight him. But that's my suggestion. Other than that, you've got nothing to worry about really, you've been on deviantart for quite some time, and those guys rarely say anything worth while (unless it's something biased or not helpful in the least bit).

But, my suggestion is having an extra page to explain a few things here and there, but you did great! I'm kinda nervous to fight you right now... but then again, I'm currently fighting seel. Well anywho, I think that this one goes to Knifes for me. And I'm impressed that Kainsword is still willing to fight after all this time! HE'S INSANE I TELLS YA!! Keep it up or something?

I just HAVE to ask: Kainsword... what's up with knifes firing a laser cannon at the opening?? I mean i know we haven't seen this char in action before.. but for goodness sakes her name is KNIFES.. and reading her profile she does not seem the laser cannon type. Nice straightforward fight.. nothing spectacular but not bad either.

TRP!  I like your art muchly... that's one of the best renditions of Daku i've seen in...ever. 9 pages... damn.The fight was well thought out and merited those pages though. Nice dialogue (though i can't even count how many times i've heard "no one has ever dodged that combination before") and fight sequences. Keep it up!
