These were both so fantastic!
I loved all the cameos Kubo had through out his! Lots of good expressions, and I loved seeing the now barren wasteland void! Also more about Ancile's back ground and whats with the egg and his mask.
Between the two I think Snagers side had the most impactful death. The start of your comic has plenty of the typical snager humor, but in the second half it got deep and I lced that. Also cute baby monster at the end!

I enjoyed both of these so much!
Snager- You set out to do your best and I think you succeeded! Your usual sense of humour and expressive figures are present, but something about this comic felt more controlled and accessible to me. I think the clear well handled layouts, the suitable zoom-outs and the use of off-pallet colours when the story called for it really helped.
I thought the Poof cameo was adorable and your handling of the death at the end worked really well. Great job!
Kubo- You instantly lured me into the story and the world (and actually added to my excitement for post-arma void city!) my investment and curiosity about this character was instant- whilst I think the tale itself ended up being quite simple I feel like that suits the character and the tone you're going for. It was all very effective and enjoyable.
Your art is fantastic as well and I genuinely took notes on your approach to tonal shading and panel layouts. Finally thank you for the Wilma cameo it made me happy to see her in a comic even as a background character.
Thanks for the great year!

My brain is too fried to make any proper critiques and I've had to think long and hard about my critiques for the Poof vs Senki death match comics so thank you both for permitting me to just gush and be a big dummy. And thank you very much for gracing me with these two cameos of Aiden!
Snager: You are correct. This is your strongest comic as of present time. Reverence for continuity and a lot of surreal fantasy weirdness, plus the quality of the art. You can even see the tooth of the watercolour paper!
Kubo: This was a fun one. I like how you incorporated this years Armageddon into your narrative and I liked the ending page both because of these two mystery characters and the ambiguous egg lore.

Both of these were beautifully done. And those page counts! How?
Snager, thank you for featuring Poof! They were adorable with Tay, and I'm now itching to start working on our scar match >
The other cameos were great too, as well as how you incorporated Ancile's lore. Using the same paneling as Kubo's previous comic to go over Ancile's lore was a really clever way to do it. And as Jelly already said, the death was handled really well and I liked that it was a non violent one. It fit the character and the story well.
Kubo - I don't have much to say because I pretty much just have what Jelly said to repeat. Quality work. Your paneling is stunning and I loved how you cameoed the others of the previous round. I also completely forgot about Tay being dead. Also the egg. Please I need to know what's in it.

First of all, thanks to both of you for the cameo, I love them both ;-;
Now down to business
Snager: I don't have much to critique here. Everything was legible, the writing was solid, and the jokes landed well. In particular Im Really glad you integrated Anciles lore into the story, both as a.meansnto.drive the plot but also for your kill. I think this is really one of the least brutal and violent deaths we've had in a death tourney and it was built up to well. And poof decked.oit in treasure is absolutely precious. The best prize of all time.
Kubo: no need to talk about quality, it's a given with your work. No real critique for you either. Pages 13 and 14 are out of order, though. Page 13 confused me a bit until I read the next one, but that's technical error. I honestly really like the fact that your worked Tays undead nature into the comic. It's a detail I think a lot of us honestly forgot about after the last round but it's cool to explore the long term ramifications of being an undead construct, especially in an extreme and weathering environment like the desert. Further using that to explore Anciles own nature is a chery on top.
I really with I had more to say, you're both pulling out all the stops and both got high marks from me. Excellent work you two
Also holy hell those page counts, idk how you two do it
