The first page was a fine homage, but the last panel of the second page felt like a missed opportunity to go Ham with the axe wielding.

Funny story, this was supposed to just be the technical difficulties panel, but as I finished it up it hit me that if the toaster weren’t plugged in then there’d be no electrocution. So I debated whether or not to just add a longer wire off screen or do a gag panel, and I’m really happy I decided to go with the latter.

I definitely liked this one more than the first one, pretty clean, cute little gag!

When I saw page 1, I was like "aw, Diz is havin a rough time," then I turned to page 2 and saw that you ALSO made it a setup for a gag strip and it made me happy. I like the idea that Kuddles just doesn't really know how to kill people without her axe but she keeps trying anyways, then just uses the axe when her original plan doesn't work. I'm sure we'll see more creative kills from her in the future, but that concept was just so fucking funny to me. And bravo on making this despite life getting in the way!

I considered that, but my work ethic would make me wait until three days before the due date to try to do a big monthly comp, so I’d rather just do my one page a week like a Sunday funny because I can usually knock a page out that I’m happy with in a day and not feel overwhelmed.

Really love the idea and Kuddles lends herself well to a format like this. But a part of me thinks that doing a weekly thing might be too much too often.

Maybe a monthly compilation would be better in the long run. More content, more anticipation and less stress for you. Either way, glad you're back to comicking again!
