After all the pinecone short and sweets this one caught me off guard. Always love a good dark story.

I agree with what Kilkra said: why does he care about the little girl? why would her parents abandon her, but yet have another kid on the way? is it their hobby to have babies and then abandon them? and i thought the ending was going to be Dicks punching the fetus out of the mom and taking it home with him or something. and if he cared about the first girl and thought the parents deserved to die for abandoning her, why did he , ALSO, just abandon her, passing her off to a perfect stranger (who canonly has stated he's not ready to be a parent, but we'll let that slide)

kind of a hypocrite. or maybe it's supposed to be funny how little sense everyone is making, and IM the dumbass, once again. :T

I feel like maybe there's something personal you're trying to work through but you're having mixed feelings about the situation. sorry if i'm over stepping.

and: I'm glad you're using references now. just keep practicing. I can kind of tell when you had a ref and when you did not.

He’s never been caught once, police find wolf hair at the scene, thinking its an animal.

That sounds like a really interesting idea to explore. It would probably make the most sense if he's in an area that has a problem with wolves :D

Hehe, thanks! I had just came up with that when I first wrote it, but honestly I think it makes sense, and it is true. Maybe I should add that in the story somewhere, to add depth. Didn’t think about it till you mentioned it, thanks Kilcra! And thanks Dechado for asking the question in the first place! ☺️

I'm thankful for the last panel on page 2.

So what's his deal? Is he actually a reaper in werewolf disguise, or was the whole "Your souls are mine" just a choice of words for the occasion?
Quote from: Dechado

He may not be an actual Reaper, but if you looked at his record of killings, you could say he’s a worldwide cereal killer. He’s never been caught once, police find wolf hair at the scene, thinking its an animal.

My goodness that took a turn at the end! Thank you so much for putting Cowbell in your story, that's very sweet of you! I hope we get to see a little more of what motivates this character in your battles!

Loved the work you put into your backgrounds in this one, including all those cameos! The colors are balanced really well, and I think you're on a great track with your poses. I see a lot of ambition with the dramatic poses here, and Dynx looks like he'll be fun to work with! He's kinda hot too, so bonus points for that!

I will critique the ending a bit, because I think it was close to working, but didn't quite work for me. In the first 3 pages, we're rooting for Dynx because he saved Iz, but having him go on to murder a pregnant woman in the next page seemed like too much. That violent kick is something I really appreciate, but I think we need to hate the two characters that were murdered on the last page more if you want to go that dark. I think if she wasn't pregnant, especially so visibly pregnant, this scene would have been funnier and the gore and last joke would have worked much better. If you want to go the pregnant murder route, imo it needs to be more justified. For me, if I'm supposed to like the character and laugh at his jokes, I'd rather not do it while imagining him eating an unborn baby. I can see the argument that you're demonstrating his lack of concern for human lives, but since he just rescued a kid, it's sending mixed messages to me. Definitely not a deal breaker for this this comic, I think you did a great job and I like your ideas. I really like that you went for shock humor at the end, we don't see that enough these days imo. I'd just consider how your audience will look at your character's actions, especially for a chaotic protagonist like what Dynx seems to be.

Great job on this, and welcome to Void!!
