Great stylistic choice Footini! It's so different than your normal style, but you pulled it off really well! I think a little more dialogue or expository text would have helped to clear up some of the middle pages, but the overall idea was conveyed well. Love those splash effects over the faces, I like to see how much experimenting went into this. Great job dude!
Good luck recovering from the burnout Radji and Strawberry! You're both badass artists and I know you'll come back stronger than ever!

The burnout/artblock is real. Sad to hear Pepper and Radji weren't able to submit.
Still congrats Footini! You're insane for being in three battles at once! Also I really hope to see a comic with Sable and Doc having their discussion

Artblocking is becoming too much of an issue for me lately.
Congrats Foot for actually managing

It's a shame Strawberry and Radji couldn't submit and that you might be retiring Doc Sic, Foot but I liked what you made, your spot blacks are real neat and I think I loved pages 2 and 3 the most.

Got screwed a bit by brain not good, work, and totally forgetting about this over the last week. Nothing I got is in a state that is worth showing (like barely more then scribbles). No excuses, just life. Super sorry about that. I do hope the extra week I snagged for us helped Footini and Radji X3
Gotta square some stuff away for a couple of personal projects and a possible move (which has also been to a lesser extent been another factor over the last month). Planning on probably doing something in December.
I'll try to keep sketching now and then and keep a little more active in the discord (i haven't been much 'there' mentally). Good luck to you two. Thanks for the opportunity to battle again. XD.

Artist
radji and pepper: hope you guys get to feeling better. i always tell people the best way to recover from your usual creative efforts is to do something productive but that takes less thought. like following a pattern to make a crochet blanket, doing some origami, maybe some needle point ect. hope this helps.
