My only problem with the style is that I can tell it's digital. Even if you didn't have the supplies at home, there are digital brushes and textures that make a more crayon-line effect. IDK, maybe that would have messed with visual clarity?
I like the idea of showing that Brittany always wanted to be a super hero, though. Did she continue making these until your manga-ka phase in middleschool? and her newgrounds webcomic phase in highschool?

I’m really happy that you picked up on the eraser marks. I figured the scrunched letters would be easy to tell but I was afraid the erased pencil would come off as accidentally sloppy instead of intentionally sloppy. Happy that worked out.

This was super cute. I love touches like the clearly erased and redrawn parts, and the STAR GIRL title getting smaller and scrunched to the right when it appears, I think we’ve all pulled the “Too Big Starting Letters” thing as kids. I agree with Fluff and Snowy though, having Brittany react to it or something would have upped this comic.

This feels like a personal attack on my 9 year old self right down to the 6 window pane style paneling and various typos. All it's missing is running out of black marker and having to use a blue marker and hoping nobody notices (but everybody does).

I agree with Fluff, it would have been nice to have another style to balance the crayon only style. It's cute, but also feels like you wanted to hurry through the comic. It's nice to see more comics from you!

Theres something so nostalgic about this. It really does make me think back to drawing with crayons as a kid.
One thing I would have liked to have seen was something showing Brittany reading or finding this old comic and reacting to it. Just to see something other than the crayon.
It's still cute and charming and stirs up fond memories or childhood. (I wish I drew and colored like this as a kid though!)

Either way, it's good start for an in depth look of the character!
