The final round of Azlantec! Maybe I can do some Void comics now! Maybe.........................................
A battle against Nothin (who indeed has an account on this very website, and even some comics to their name)'s Flick!

The art in these last two Azlantic comics is your best. You've been doing this soft rendering style for a long time now, and personally it’s always not been my thing. With soft rendering, things are imbued with more visual information - a duotone shade has two shades, light and dark, whereas with soft shading you now have tons of colors between your shadow and your light, due to blending. This makes things feel more tangible, but it also can sometimes make issues in the drawings stand out more, like how in 3d projects a mode can look worse when a suite of post-production effects is slapped onto it as opposed to it just by itself. However, what’s making your shading style work more for me now is the amount of polish - things looks consistently clean and pleasant, the colors are pleasantly muted with enough vibrancy for things not to look dull, and there’s some great rendering on display - I thought the shot of the lil guys on page 5 looked especially good with those metal reflection and clear directional lighting.
Your figures are feeling more fluid, the poses with Flick on page 10 were remarkably naturalistic and energetic. They still can feel a bit stiff, that odd barbie-doll leg movement in the first panel stands out quite a bit, but you’re on the right track
I’ll comment on the writing as well, you strike a very good balance here between your more wordy, dialogue comedy and a lot of good physical comedy. I think this is your sweet spot.
I’ve enjoyed these OCT’s you posted here, even without the context, which says a lot regarding the writing quality. Great stuff cro!
