Very pretty, and the ending leaves it open-ended to whatever further info will be revealed in future comics ^u^

Grats on getting Kurdis in! I love the traditional watercolor feel of this comic and the colors really gave it a space/psychedelic mood. Very unique character and I'd love to know more!

The second page was BEAUTIFUL! It's very bittersweet how Kurdis is remembering the old days, really makes me curious about what he's gonna be up to later on.
The last page looked a little messy, it kinda distracted me from just how heart-wrenching the ending was. Kurdis's last words in this comic were so GOOD. They say SO MUCH with so little.
Great job! Looking forward to more Kurdis for sure!

Yo, I love the mixed media you've got going on, with the watercolors juxtaposed with the VHS tracking effects. That said, I kind of agree that I'm not sure it works too well as an intro for a character; I think what gets me is that for the majority of the comic, we're shown Kurdis as part of a group, and while you do a pretty good job of trying to put the focus on Kurdis by making him a different color than the others, it feels a bit like you don't go quite far enough. I think it also doesn't quite help that you spend an entire page just showing the fact that Kurdis is a drummer--that's page space you could've used to give a bit more of a look into Kurdis's personality. That said, I really like the ending! That final page is so cool to look at, hehe

I already gave a full crit in approval and i look forward to seeing more comics from you. A little thing i wanted to add on is while the first panel on page 3 didn't work i like the middle expressions of Kurdis. Also I can't state enough how much I enjoy that final page great job with it.

Congrats on getting ya boy in!!

I like the format that this intro story is in, it’s really novel to me. The glitch effects and the little icons for things like fast forward and play were nice touches that hinted what was going on before we see Kurdis on the sofa. I loved the bubble effects and just the whole last panel in general on page 3. The palette, the little hand wave, the sparkles, it’s great. I enjoyed the lighting on the last page too. Not only does it look good, but it really clearly shows he’s watching the TV in a dark room, so even without showing us the screen I’d have probably been able to tell. There’s a harshness to the light and shadows you just don’t see in other lighting conditions, and you portrayed it very well.

Page 3 was kinda weird for me though in a few ways. First of all, the characters in Kurdis’s band kind of blended together, I think because the values were too similar. I could see their outlines, but my brain just kept reading them as one big blob. I also had trouble discerning what Kurdis was actually feeling in those three reaction panels. To me he seems manic, then kind of upset, then angry, then in the last panel he’s suddenly flattered. His thought process isn’t clear to me.

This was a neat little look into Kurdis' remembrance of earlier days. The VHS tracking and inputs were a good touch and the water color was wonderful. Has this glam rocker lived in Void City for some time then and is trying to escape his current humdrum? Can't wait to see him in action! Welcome to the Void, Kurdis!

As an intro, I don't know that it gets my gears turning about Kurdis' potential, or really informs who they are well enough to run with,  but taking the comic by itself, I love it. Wonderful use of special effects, the mixed traditional media, the hilarious punchline and just the whole vibe of this comic get it high marks from me. I want more of this.
