Really interesting match up! Especially since Doc was able to exploit Ma's weaknesses.

Corn - I love your take on this battle. You'd think that a Soup character is a recipe for gag comics but once I read Ma's bio, I was blown away by this well thought out character. I love how you placed  him in prison and used Doc's connection with Quint to make up a strong story! The art and colors are also pretty good and I am glad you really took the time to draw the backgrounds and interesting angles for panels.

Footini - Very nice penciled comic and the conversation between the two is actually interesting. The  last page made me chuckle and truly unexpected but makes perfect sense. It's def less polished than Corn's side but I appreciate that everything is easy to read and follow.

Corn: Look at those backgrounds, yessssssss. I also love the colors you use! And you do a really good job of giving your characters such distinctive Voices that even if you used the same font, I'd be able to instantly tell when Ma was speaking vs. when anyone else was speaking. It makes the English Major in me very happy lol.
Personally I thought the hacking was obvious enough; it helped that you used the same color as Doc's text boxes, so it was a color that stood out against the red background and had already been connected to Doc.

Footini: I know you had the idea to do a Podcast from the get-go and then struggled with figuring out how to fit Ma into that, but I think the end result was very good! It was a solid joke, lol. Got a good chuckle out of me.

To Corn of the Breads(no preference):
-Very good job establishing the atmosphere on the first page!
-Very strong colour and shape(?negative space?) choices
-The final page also features some really good pose-perspectives of the characters
-I really appreciate you putting the "narrative word bubbles" in. It really helped me understand the plot from the beginning, without using up unnecessary dialogue time.

-Page 2 final panel kinda makes Quint's shoulders look like a butt, plus he seems a lot smaller than he does in the following page
-I actually didn't realize that Ma had donned a disguise(kinda forgot since seeing her ref. page) so I legit thought the lil' birdperson was a henchman until they started fighting whoopsiedoo. Maybe a little more focus on Ma putting on the mask would be helpful to new readers next time?
-Some additional sound affects during the electrocuting/hacking on page 4 would've really lent to the scene, I think
-page 6's first line of dialogue seems a bit awkward. Maybe instead, write "(...)The further this farce goes, the worse the consequences."
-The last panel seems a little abrupt, maybe have the guards come rushing out or explain why Doc_Sic doesn't kill her in some way? I feel like... one more page or a few extra panels to lengthen the page, with that panel remaining the final one, would've been helpful.

To Footini(no critiques, comments encouraged):
-Very creative way to show how Doc_Sic can subtly influence the people around him, good work! I think this is a solid 3 pager comic, and I hope you revisit shorter comics like this as your art progresses. :)

Nitpicky: I think page 1's last panel could've used a little more indication as to who's saying what. ^^; Plus, a little "heavier weighted" lines or more focus on Doc_Sic being surprised/cut off by Ma's response when his subtle plans failed.

The line 'soup can't talk' it's been stuck in my head since I read Footinis comic.
Corn those are some good colors!

Doccast was brought to you by Ma's Classic Homestyle Alphabet Soup, "Ma knows best.".

Corn of the breads - This story seems to parallel some of the other recent comics being forged and it is really intriguing. Ink and color looks scrumptious, with a side of slight perspective burps. What could Ma need with a bunch of weak willed pawns...? I truly appreciate you going through all the trouble of drawing that hair brained Quint guy and involving him in your story. It fits really well for what needed done. Investigative journalism has reached an all new dangerous level of consequences.

Footini - All sorts of comics going on, busy bee you. The lines were sketchy but they were solid and readable. It's nice to see Joey and Cynthia sticking together. This was a great little spin on Doc_sic. She is really putting a personal scoop on the life of Void's eccentric inhabitants. Definitely play with this podcasting angle. Nice work!

Corn - Very beautiful work on the colors. Also I love your robo soup dude. He reminded me of Bondrewd in this comic and I thought that was cool.

Footini - I love the idea of a podcast comic, I think that is a really unique way to explore different characters and just have them chat up their philosophies. I should have read the bios before I read this comic because I did not get the joke until i did, lol.
My only complaint is that I wish it were longer so we could get to know the characters better.

Corn - I really like the story that you told in this, and the colors look lovely. It did take me a bit to realize that Ma had gotten hacked, but I also like the idea that Cynthia's hacking is done so covertly that you have to look at it to see it.

Footini - I thought this was a cute comic. I like the idea that Ma wasn't really talking to the audience, and was just trying to get Cynthia to let her mind get taken.

Corn - Cool premise, and I like that you connected the story to Doc_Sic’s battle with Quint! The colours are lovely and vibrant, and I really like Ma’s ominous psychic soup attack on the penultimate page. Overall a good comic, though I was confused on the first read because Doc_Sic’s hacking is very lowkey. I think you could have used bigger panels or brighter electrical effects when Ma was being hacked, to draw more attention to why Doc is suddenly controlling him.

Footini - I liked the contemplative feel you were going for and the ending. Were you missing some pages though?

Corn I already really like where this is going.

HEAR ME OUT: Void's very own Holmes and Moriarty. The elaborate detective mystery stories that can come from this combo would be so nuts!
