Wow what a battle! Love the contrast between humor and sort of serious story between you two. I think everyone already said the crits that are needed.

MRPR, I am glad you're able to finish the battle this time! Love the nice, smooth crisp lines. Hopefully as you get faster you can add some tones  too for extra oomph

Boo, you've been steadily improving for sure though there are some parts that got me confused with the transition that I had to read back ^^.

Overall great work!

@TheCydork: I’m glad you liked my spot blacks, it took awhile for me to figure out, and it could use more fine tuning.

@Flutterbyes: Thank you , I was really trying to improve my writing and add some depth. When I got to the battle part I was worried about running out of time, so I started to rush- I should’ve added some transition scenes there. Darling was the only one that liked the cake because Shibo used the love eggs to bake it and love eggs taste really bad to pretty much everybody except  Egg Dealer. Darling happens to like that flavor too though because she has similar taste as the Egg Dealer. But, he was too distracted in thought to eat it . The normal people tried to eat the cake but were repulsed by the taste  of love egg in it so they threw it in the garbage. Darling loved the cake so much and went into the garbage after it.

Thanks once again  for reading! :)

MRPR: Yeah that story suits the two of them (and finally! Some hope in stopping this eggy horror!). Some "this is really big" compositions probably would have really taken your humor up a notch.

Boogidi: YEP. ALWAYS A CHANCE TO GAZE INTO THE HORROR THAT IS EGG WITH YOUR COMICS. Wow, so odd to go back to skinny dealer after a comic with TWO meticulously rendered huge characters. Your pacing is great up until the key moments of the battle. I feel like there's a page missing between 9 and 10. Same for regeneregged Egg Dealer showing up all of a sudden without a beat in between. As for the ending, was Darling the only one who liked the cake? Why was the butt egg in the trash?

MrPr - I think this could have benefitted from some colour. The substitution was a good joke, but I couldn’t actually tell what had happened on the first read. With your simple style, the lack of colour, and almost every panel on the first few pages being a closeup, I was confused.

Boogi - Seconding what Arts said, I really liked the spot blacks, but they quickly became overpowering and made the comic hard to decipher at times. I actually disagree on the forehead thing though... You did give the forehead too much space a couple of times, but usually there’s too much space between the CHIN and the mouth. The mouths are always very small and squished up high on the face. I think both are a product of lack of construction lines, as the features slide around the face a lot.

@Symon_says: Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed this battle.
And you’re in luck because I’m already working on another BB and it’s going to be in full glorious color! :)

@ArtsandGoodies: Thank you for all the tips. :) It was really fun to experiment with the spot blacks and I learned a lot from this.

Thank you everyone for reading. :)

MrPR: Your linework is good but it would be nice to have tones and colors since with just white and lines it can be a little hard to read. That being said your humor is consistent and this was an enjoyable story.

Boogidi: It's been a while since an egg dealer comic has confused and surprised me but this one certainly has (in a good way). I was not prepared for skinny egg dealer. It's great to see you experiment with your style in this going with some heavy inks. In this comic you did a bit too much blackspotting and made some panels hard to decipher but it's good to play around. When blackspotting keep in mind the shadows are there to help define form and on areas of focus, like the face you should lighten up on the blackspots.

I said it before but you're backgrounds are great, even though they're unfinished in this and a different style they still look great and have nice details following consistent perspective. I have seen you practice them and I think it's time you start practicing backgrounds with figures in them since a lot of the time they feel disconnected from the characters, it doesn't help they're drawn differently than everything else.
When it comes to your heads the problem isn't the faces, they look fine, it's teir placement and how it feel slike they're painted on the heads. You should do some exercises practicing construction of the head from just shapes without any of the details, that way you can get used to drawing the head and facial structure together. Also something ot keep in mind is that you seem to give the forehead too much space and should keep that in mind proportion wise while working on future heads. keep practicing the work is paying off.

An earth-shattering entry from both of you! Was really looking forward to these two comics and seeing how you both hashed it out.

MrPr1993 = Shibo's rock substitution was well used and the gag included the yolk doctor and madam bandages from Egg Dealer's previous submissions. Your line work is wonderful and everything looks well polished but seriously MrPr1993 I long to see colors included! Great job none the less!

BoogidiBzdo = The faces could be hybrid mashed between realism and your style, you'll iron it out, looks good irregardless. I can see the progress you are making only in the last few matches. And yes I would enjoy seeing some more color work from you as well. Keep it up!

I look forward to matching against either of you in the future!

MrPr, OMG, man, I loved yours! :) Let it be no secret, I liked your comic better than what I did in my own.
Good job!

Some stuff about mine:
In my comic I attempted to draw more realistic faces, but I sort of miss the old way I used to draw faces, so I’m going to go back to that.
The yolkrement is the guy that got turned into an egg back in the Egg Dealer Intro.

Egg Dealer will be big again, just wait and see!:):):)

I'm done here. It's kinda short and has some few closeups however U.U; aaaaaand at the end there's a little scene that may not be of comfort. Just a heads up.

G'luck on yours Boog!
