Kozispoon: Cannot even freakin believe you did this beyond battle AND Heavyweight in the same frame of time. You, sir are a BEAST.
I always look forward to seeing your comic covers for your battles and what puns or play on words you'll use as a nod to your opponent. It's great to see all these threads begin to connect on Wendigos account. Characters, situations, locales and even a huge throwback to voiders long forgotten in some deep dank vault...
It's cool to see you unpack Wendigo even if only a little from the monstrous brawler he is. He actually has something of a code when the mechanic throws him the device in exchange to clear out. I was surprised to find that instead of lying, or simply killing them he honors the offer, which shows a level of depth there I didn't expect.
I'm not sure if you were in the throes of Heavyweight during the action scenes in this BB, but they felt almost tame. I wouldn't mind tame if Wendigo had established that Kurt and Mehcanic were too easy to fight, or he was just playing with them, but Wendigo doesnt seem like much of a talker when he's in the middle of a fight.
Oh man, but speaking of worthy to fight, hitting us with Kubo under some heavy confinement? Could he be tougher than Wendigo? Is he friend? foe? I definitely wanna know!

Viperchief and I started this comic before Heavyweight was announced and well before I even knew I was competing. Originally we weren't in any rush so I kind of shot myself in the foot when I realized I would have to finish this comic before HW and get it up in time for people to read it first. Another thing to remember for next time
I agree, the Wendigo fight is a bit raw and was actually meant to be a lot shorter but Viper encouraged me to at least double it so that my son could get some love. Looking back now after working on HW I feel I've gotten a bit better with fight scenes and could have punched that one up a few more notches considering its the only battle in the comic.
I love writing and drawing for Wendigo and have a ton of ideas I want to explore with him, but Im also excited to bring back Kubo and unravel the mystery of his incarceration.
Corn Of The Breads: I really enjoyed this comic I think my only complaint would have to be it seemed Wendigo had very little to do, though I do understand he wasnt the main focus of the comic just seemed very brief.

Wendigo is meant to be a red herring, rather than making this a collaborative beyond battle between the Mechanic and Kubo, I wanted to make his return to Void as big of a surprise as possible. Plus I really wanted to show off Kaiju Wendigo and actually how his homunculi work. Trying to shoot two bird with one stone.
