HELLIS_ I think you really need to get into some intensive studies of drawing other races. The way you drew your opponents character looks like you were wrestling with yourself trying not to default to traditional European features. I really think our DMs via discord and discussions over your WIPs pointed you in the right direction, but the stick-tuitiveness of that direction wobbled page to page.

Also I don't know if its the fact your characters were wearing much less than they usually do, but the anatomy on Drednaut and Akira seemed to be drifting. I for one find difficulty with beefy guys and muscle placement, so  I can totally sympathize, but even Akira's bony landmarks seemed to be haphazard. I do like the choice of swimsuit tho. Oddly enough carried the right amount of effeminate and masculine middle ground which is where this character shines.

I dug your transistion from the beach to the warehouse and oh man the WAREHOUSE. You gave some serious TLC to that establishing shot on page 7 and it shows. I think you knew it was coming together well and needed to be spotlighted cuz you dedicated the entire page to it.

Storytelling wise, its no secret you really flow when you're battling with Akira, so I was totally invested in where this was going and what this dastardly vamp is cooking up. Also once our schedules clear up we gotta address that 'hirable' Remy photo!

DRAWDAN- Welcome back man! It's so great to see some of the golden oldies of VOID make comeback and grace us kiddies with some classic characters. It's so neat to see this style of comic on VOID again. And I don't know if this was due to time, but I even dig the sketchiness to it- gives it an almost stylized realism bent to it. The way you drew Akira really appealed, but it was a shame he showed up at the very last moment. I was rather looking forward to seeing a comics worth of interaction between these two.

Your creative liberties with designing the Spiders Bite to suit your style was something I enjoyed and I definitely will be referencing this comic should I ever find myself visiting this club in future comics.

Hellis: I like the story, Akira is always plotting stuff and building up and being a general bastard in the funnest of ways. The textures you are using are also working really well, my favorite use of the textures is page 8 panel 4 on the best I like that texture and want to know which one that was. I think you can make your figures more dynamic, in particular i feel like the back shots need some more dramatization to them. Adding some black spots and a bit more studying of anatomy will help with them. Your do good backgrounds are really solid and your adding more detail and heavier black spots with them so i want to see you implement that on your figures. I love how you have all these big plans for your characters and keep setting up more and more for them.

Drawdan: Everything about this is much more traditional american comic style than most of void in the best way I feel. From the way you draw characters to the story and the humor in this It's all a refreshing style we don't see enough of in void. My main crit would be that the compositions felt in general a little too close up. like on page 5 the first panel doesn't show the guy who gets in their way and the final pages the room feels a bit claustrophobic in what seems to be an unintentional way. That being said it's really awesome to see and old school voider come back to battle again and I want to see more comics in this style.

Hellis i really liked they plot you had going on. its simple but has a nice twist with akiras manipulation to it. you should work on your consistency in anatomy though. while it was nice to have a full colored entry it hurt you that often the drawings felt not well constructed. some lifedrawing would probably help heaps. but again all in all this is a good entry.

Drawdan you got some really nice drawings here. especially the backgrounds are well built even though the transition in more guided lines to those free drawings is a tad rough. storywise i wonder why the monsterhunt scene was really neccesary. in 7 pages i would have liked a direction set to your opponent earlier. here Akira actually feels like a prop rather than an important story element.

Great comics, the both of you! I hope this wasn't a one time thing, Drawdan, because I love it when Void vets come back to stay.

Hellis, each comic you make gets better and better, I tell you. The texture you use on these pages really make it for me. Im also super stokes to learn what Akira is up to!

Drawdan I love how you were able to complete the story you started in your last fight here even after all this time. Also, the way you write Dreds reminds me of old school comics, like some good old fashion Luke Cage stuff. I hope this isn't the last comic you do for a while. I would love to go toe-to-toe with you some day.
