Astrodile: OK KUBO TBH YOURE GONNA HEAR ME RAMBLE ABOUT HOW I REALLY LIKE WENDIGO IN VCAST SO I HOPE YOU DONT MIND ME JUMPING STRAIGHT TO CRITS because this intro is certainly a solid one, the references made in this first page to older void characters are wonderful as with the colors used here!

The first issue I noticed with this introduction, and no doubt since you have yet to really familiarize yourself with this character into your style comfortably, is the head shape. Though he has a very pronounced parietal/occipital bone (The back of his head) in his reference, there are several panels where his head-shape is overall more contained and rectangular (Ex. PG3 P5, his hand is a bit too large here as well, & both of his appearances in PG4), his neck as well ending up thick and short in turn (Ex: PG4 P1).

In page one, there are a couple things I wanna mention, particularly with the last panel of the first page. We mentioned this in VCast if you wanna give it a listen! But to the point, I feel like the execution of this panel could have had more oomph to it, especially considering that these last 3 panels are a buildup to baby's 1st murder, comparing Wendigos own head-shot which is illuminated with an ominous red light to perpetuate that /something/ is about to happen, I feel as though some heavier shading if not the light blue reflection of the HUD's could have been a nice contrast to Wendigos own shot and at some more weight to the situation and all more quality to that last panel. Though all of this is done in the next page, I hope you find it valuable that I mention this in relation to the second pages buildup (These last three panels) explicitly. If not, that's fine as well!

The angle of the buildings in the background of the final shot are a bit wonky, as in the foreground the fencing and first row of architecture we're looking from an angle that is raised and slightly tilted, yet the rest of the buildings at the further ends are flat and most at full frontal-views, I might even say that Wendigos own body is perpetuated with this same issue, with how evenly leveled his upper torso is horizontally. Though these can be taken as nitpicks and hell I might even be incorrect, but it perpetuates this feeling for me that Wendigo is not necessarily interacting with the foreground-- Yes, he may be simply standing and gazing, but with the small gorey scene he just caused and the splashes of blood on his & his homunculi's being at the end, there is a certain aspect of power/energy that I consider to be a hit and miss.
I have a question, and I say this with complete neutrality/curiosity, why did you switch between colored and black lineart for Wendigo and his homunculi? Was the colored lineart entirely specific to the occurring scenes of page 3, stylizings sake? And if so, why was it not used for page 2, which also contains a shot so strong that it has its own page?

Astrodile, thank you so much! I love critique and all of this is very helpful! I can't wait for the episode to go up so I can listen to it. About the past page and the lack of color holds on Wendigo and the homunculus' lines...I uploaded the page!!! I didn't realize until you pointed it out, i uploaded an older version of that last page where the color hold layer was turned off! I feel dumb but I don't think it takes too much away from the page so I will probably live.

ArtsandGoodies: In terms of abilities I am curious how you will implement his abilities in matches where you can't eat and consume the opponents character, could he scar someone by eating just part of them and getting a bit of their abilities without having to kill them?

Strictly speaking, there’s nothing against killing opponents in normal battles, they just don’t stay dead. Whatever makes a good comic.

ArtsandGoodies: I love your line art and in particular the way you blacksport wendigo's suit. I'm more excited to see this character in deathmatches, honestly. He seriously raise the stakes because if he wins not only do you lose your character, in a sense, HE gets it. That's really twisting the game

It was so great to see this character make it way through the incubator, iterations and it final form of intro comic. Your backgrounds, paneling and general look throughout was really great to see- especially when you see the jump in quality by peeking at your old void battles. Way to level up, man!

I certainly look forward to seeing who you fight first!

I go into detail about his powers in his write-up, but essentially the more he eats of an opponent the more powerful the homunculus he makes. If he just tastes some blood, he can create a homunculus that maybe has a weak version of one ability that character has. I might reserve making new homunculi to scar matches just so that I don't get too overwhelmed with them, but if the story calls for it I am willing to be flexible.

Heathen: This intro @#$%ing rocks! I'm glad you went with the stacked pages, because that kill splash was sweet. I love the stylistic cannibalism panel, and how you've used vomit as a framing device. The way you show that Wendigo has taken his victim's qualities somehow by having him successfully use the Doctor's fingerprint scanner is brilliant.

Thank you for the critique! It was good to break free from the standard mold, if only for this time.
Can't wait to battle this guy!
