man, you already know me but I gotta comment anyway: Brumah is like, the top aspiration for me to do well on Void over the next couple'a years. Monty? You also cool, bro. Now that I've learnt more about Void, this comic makes much more sense to me. Send me your blessings, Astro.

Thanks so much for the comments, votes, and critiques y'all! As usual, I'm happy to have read them all and I'm happy you guys like this intro!! I just threw these two into the wild that is Void, hopefully I can get some funtimes rollin' with these two. :>

Rad intro. I really like the moody silent sequence on the first page. You’re still having some perspective and clarity issues, although this comic is a step up in those areas, most notably in your backgrounds. I like the details you’ve included in the interior. Honestly, I think most of your visual clarity issues most often are a result of your wonderful monster designs. Your monstrous characters are so inhuman, you’re really good at doing Lovecraftian horror. But the thing that makes Lovecraftian horror so effective is that the monsters are impossible to look at, lest you go mad. This innate abstraction doesn’t lend itself well to extreme closeups of bizarre features or silhouettes sometimes. Since there are no crazy monster designs in this comic, many of these clarity problems aren’t present. The only one that stuck out to me is page 3, panel 2. I think from the dialog in the following panel that Dahiris slammed some wanted posters down on the table, but the actual artwork is all but indecipherable, and that’s a small panel showing a very quick action, that’s meant to be a very quick read, you shouldn’t have to look at that panel for more than a millisecond. It seems to be an extreme closeups of Dahiris’ hand in the foreground, with the other guy’s head in the background looking startled, and then somehow the floor?

Other than that one instance, this intro is great, and I’m interested to see what you do with these two.

Astro. ASTRO. My love my darling, holy COW! I live for every single page! My crops: watered, my skin: cleared! I have the biggest weakness for lineless and those first pages pull it off so so soooo nicely. Even the style change at the end was nice! I cannot wait to see more and more from you!

I'll second Hellis. You're just getting better and better with each comic you do. This is easily my favorite of yours. Your dialogue has improved, and things are a lot more clear and easy to follow.

As someone with both a vamp and a char who knows how to use holy artifacts, I am just GIDDY with excitement with how these chars are gonna go! Added this duo to the playlist.

My only point of criticism is to watch out with the speech bubbles. Make sure your text is all nice and comfy centered within the bubbles. (Page 2-panel 2, Page 3 panels 1 and 4 for example .)

Here's a handy dandy link:

The one you're looking at is:

Other than that, excellent comic, I cannot WAIT to see future comics from you. Keep up the good work!

Not gonna lie. This is my favorite comic of yours. The arts very organic yet readable, the colors set the mood, the expressions are good, the dialogue flows naturally. And it left me craving another comic. I wanna fight them SO bad.
