Rittzler - Very interesting story and its a shame these two couldn't coexist as friends! The panels felt a little empty, and maybe additional detail or backgrounds could fill that in. I definitely look forward to seeing more comics in your style!
Bobo - Such an adorable illustrative style, I'd love to see more of this work. The lines were a little weak in some parts for me and maybe some subtle line variation could work in the future--NOT too much to change the style though. Color would be awesome, too! But keep it up, this is a really great comic!

RITTZLER: The pacing of the comic was very pleasant and I thoroughly enjoyed the dynamics between the two characters and you show it well through well written dialogue. I also find it really interesting how quick the ghost is to react to the "damage" that Linh receives. A very strong answer to why exactly she's not interested in getting any friends. But it also raises a lot of questions about the nature of the ghost and makes me want to learn more.
The calm and sweet interaction is a very huge contrast to the sudden violence, and makes the death all that much more tragic.
In another timeline, I would have loved to see them become friends.
BOBO: I adore this art style. It's so simple and soft, drawing attention to exactly what needs to be in focus and I was never lost or had trouble telling what was going on.
I like how you brought them into a school setting and established a friendship between them. A nice change from the usual introduction of either party to each other before the duking starts.
Also nice use of the ghost and tie in to Sludge's family, really hadn't expected that ending and it got me pleasantly surprised.
Even with the simple style I like your attention to detail. Adds a lot to the re-readability.

* RITTZLER the last two panels could have been merged into a single page and your unfinished Sludge action scene kind of dampened the parade. Lovely line work but maybe add a background or two. Good luck!
* BOBO color or shading would have been a nice touch but over all I enjoyed it. Perhaps Sludge ability demonstrations next time round?

Rittz: i feel like finished the comic would have been just so great! but it's a shame it isn't. I liked the story.
Bobo: Sludge's character is really interesting. But i feel like she's moving trough the litteral VOID because of lack of backgriunds

Bobo: Definitely cute, but past page 2, the lack of backgrounds gives the comic far too much levity, and it doesn't suit Linh's grave death. And it also seems super unprompted? The top of page 7 is pretty neat, though.
Rittz: It's unfortunate you didn't get like, the most key panels of the comic finished! Because this ALSO feels like the death is super unprompted, although I assume it has something to due with the gum.

Rittz this is one of the your best written comics it is just so tragic but it the art is a bit rough but still looks good!
Bobo I love how you did a highschool setting it is all so cute and fun! I like how both of you went with a passive route it is nice but tragic to see!

We got some good stuff here on both ends. I'm liking the idea of an SDT where the characters aren't actually TRYING to kill each other. That would have never occurred to me.

@rittz: I got quite a kick out of how you depicted Sludge in your comic! And that "I'm actually blind, so I can't—" line just killed me. And talk about overprotective haha. I'm honestly amazed you were able to do so much in even less time than I had, and I think the one thing that could help in the future is to try to trim your story down as much as possible so you can have a more finished product in a shorter time frame. At the same time, I loved everything in this comic story-wise, so I couldn't tell you what parts to trim out haha. Good luck, and if you win, I look forward to what happens next!

Rittz: I understand the suckage of timeshortage. ANd its unfortunate it is so unfinished, becouse the visual cues seemed really strong in the home stretch of the comic.
Bobo: Cute style! I enjoyed the academy/school setting for tihis, and I honestly had a good chuckle at the visuals on that ink trick. Overall a really solid comic in my book!

Honestly this 1v1 makes me sad; no ones wants this, but this is the way it is. The want of friendship that is cut short due to circumstance and/or misunderstanding is just… TT__TT

I love this. I hate that I love this b/c the gruesome death made me audibly groan in sadness mumbling ‘why cant they be frrriiiieenddss……’ BUT I DIGRESS! Line weight and perspectives used in this piece are on point! I love the dialogue given between the two of these characters and the ending. Ho boy the ending. The stark loss of borders? The vapid space with sparse text? The final page? Love it, love everything about this, except how the characters cant be friends.
Bobo:
Again..friends who can’t be friends pulls on my heartstrings. The style you’ve presented is a nice contrast with the sudden death of Linh and having the grief of the lost of a friend being processed by Sludge. Perspective shots in the first page were a catcher, and I hope to see more of that in other works I will definitely catch up on all your past and future pieces!
Overall...guys, my heart hurts. Why can’t they be friends. Why can’t they have a simple life? TT__TT joking aside, I love how you both presented this issue of friendly death. Good on you both!
