@Tenbu -  I agree with Kozi, Tsung's expressions are great! Also that last page looked like it would have been real damn good once inked! Can't wait to see more of this guy! (And I hope I get to challenge him someday too!)

@Nana-Banana - Next time, even if unfinished, still upload! There is no shame on losing a match! Ya must always keep trying!

@Tenbu; You've got a really great start here and I hope in the next round we can see a great finish from you as well. The angle of the first shot is really ambitious and I'm a big fan of it, but Tsung doesn't feel like he quite fits with his surroundings if you cover up the background so that you just see Tsung it feels like the panel is a top down shot rather than the nice dutch angle you were trying to go for. Remember that characters go along with their environments rather than being mixed after the fact. If you have trouble with that sort of thing I'd greatly recommend working things out in a 3d program (and there are some free ones you can play with like google sketchup)

Tenbu - You've got some rather nice character work, and I imagine with time the background would have filled out. But on top of just putting some details in the environment, consider that if the character is waking up in an unfamiliar place, it's important to demonstrate how unfamiliar the place is to them. Even if it'd be familiar to the audience. Looking forward to seeing how you handle those action panels when they're fleshed out.

TENBU- I think the first thing I noticed, despite the unfinished comicness of it all were your expressions. It was great to see a range of emotions as opposed to static faces. You did what you could with the time given, but its a bummer to see that you ran out of time just as the events were beginning to unfold.

@Tenbu: I like your grasp on anatomy, especially those muscles! Your characters feel solid and consistent across panels, which is great. It sucks that you couldn't finish, and your backgrounds felt really empty, but hopefully in your next match you'll be able to get more details in there! Good luck!

@Nana-Banana: Real life just comes up sometimes; we understand how that goes. When you're less busy, jump right back in and challenge someone to a regular match! Having a finished comic will make you feel so much better. :)

@Tenbu: You have a really appealing style and a firm grasp of anatomy that makes your comic very pleasant to read. I am really looking forward to seeing a finished one out of you hopefully for round 2!

@Nana: Sorry to hear about how busy you were, next time get one in for sure! I actually had some ideas for Abigail so you better stick around!

Tenbu: Your character design fundamentals are really top notch, knowing from what I saw of your stream you gotta be more confident with your lines, this will help build your speed so you can complete your next comic. Like most action oriented character-focused artists (like myself) your biggest weakness here are your backgrounds, another thing to keep in mind for next round. Now that you've got your feet wet you can really take a swim

Nana-banana: Redeem yourself by entering a battle as soon as you can!

Sorry to hear about that. I don't think any less of you! If its any consolation, I didn't even get to finish mine. But regardless, I wish you the best of luck and hope to see some work from you in the future!

I'm just going to apologize now before I pass out and forget. I do not have anything to turn in for this battle and I am sorry for the lack of content on my first battle. Sorry about this Tenbu but, please win the tournament for both of us. This just came at a horrible time for me as all last week was spent studying for my last final, air travel, and struggles with my tablet. I hope this doesn't affect any future relationships or puts a damper on my ability to be a successful battle partner. Again I'm sorry and hope you all don't think less of me for this!
