To be fair nothing really happens in this comic haha, it was mostly just stream of conscious which is why nothing really leads up to anything haha. I had no real time to think about it cause I did it in 9 hours. I am still glad you guys like it! I hope I have more time on the next fight.

Endshark: IM STILL AMAZED YOU DID THIS IN SUCH LITTLE TIME? Like Taylor said, to me the main issue is that there's no focus on Brute or Ted, but, 11 hours? And the coloring/lineart is still so solid. Daaamn

Charlie: pretty much my only crit would be that Brute and ted never really... did a thing? Which works fine for your story, but not really in a battle where you're trying to showcase your opponent too. Otherwise, it's freaking brilliant and amazing, and holy cow. in that order.
Sabu: You butt.

CHARLIE: A really great effort alongside your freelance work! I think some of your panels could use wider gutters just to give the art room to breathe (eg. page five). Use of colour throughout is really cool and about the only thing I'd say is that there were all these subtle *looks* from Brute & Ted that didn't seem to lead to anything. This is a fun story though and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with Luna being reunited with her brother (also pink <3)
SABU: Kick ur butt u better do well in Hiveworks.

Charlie: I'm beyond impressed you managed to draw a comic in a day! I WISH I could get that much done as quickly as you.
Sabu: Dammit, what a shame. I was hoping to fight you in this tourney, but stuff happens and real life does come first.

Not sure how much actually got captured from the stream because it did disconnect a few times so there may only be chunks of it but my picarto channel is Triggershark!
Anyway thanks man, I wouldn't really call this one a victim of procrastination so much as I actually legit didn't have the time for it due to freelance taking priority for me haha. It's just I guess I got good at doing last minute things over the years that it happened to come in handy here. I am hoping next round I have more time to deliver but I also won't turn down work as it's more important to me to keep that ball rolling ! I dig the pink too! I actually did the comic in grayscale but just used colour balance adjustment layers to colour it so I could tweak it easily. The pink really appealed to me as well when I got it.
Thanks everyone I will try and do better next round if I can!

Sorry you didn't quite make it, Sab. Charlie, oh master of procrastination, you inspire me for reasons I'm not sure are good. I really dig the pink in this comic, it works. If that stream got recorded, PM me the link, I'd really like to watch it and follow your channel.

Charlie: For 9 hours it's great, like Shen said you're god tier and the day you realize that we are all $%&#'d. Since you had so little time to work on it it's hard to critique since you'r eprobably aware of most of what it's lacking. It's cool to see Luna's story progressing forward, and how you used Brute and Ted worked for this issue, I'd say just keep doing what you're doing (with more time) and you're set for Round 2
Keep on rocking!

One day we will have to fight for real or something or other OR WHATEVER.

I ended up doing a comic. It's not the greatest thing I have ever done and is stupidly short but I did this in 9 hours (I can back that claim up too haha, I streamed the entire damn thing...). Anyway I was originally gonna default but I found myself with some time today so I decided to put it to good use.
So yeah, better than defaulting I guess.

Just as a heads up I probably won't have anything for this ! I will see what I can toss together but I have been busy. I thinking signing up for these tournaments are just not feasible for me anymore , freelance work has been good to me so far (far better than I thought) on top of my day job ! I will still try and see what I can put together though on Monday but I do apologize ahead of time.
