graphicdreamer: Great turnout for a 1-week comic! I have a good idea of what is happening, but that's more because of the dialogue; the panels and images in them feel a little cramped and I got lost more than once following visually on where to go, be more mindful of your panel layout.

Dino Nebitt: Forever a fan of your art but goddamn these deadlines are killing you with incompletion! You probably would have a higher score if this comic had a conclusion. Try completing comics with longer deadlines first before going back to hard-mode 1-weekers, or make shorter stories cause your art is good enough to carry that Quality rank just fine and everyone knows it, now ya gotta just finish the stories on time!

keep it up guys!

No, that hand is totally backwards. It has nothing to do with the fingers.

Neens- i agree about the bubbles, it was the result of me tryin to tell this story on such a short amount of pages. And Dino is correct he does have six fingers with the thumb not being visible. Im glad you like the colors i just wish i had a more extensive palette to select from. Thanks for taking the time to give your opinion.

Dino- dude, we must be on the same page cause our comics worked well together without any prior planning im super stoked about that. i did wish your story had a little more context but them again i wish i had more action so its whateves. We must fight again as my story develops Michael wont be such and easy win for The Smile in the future. Its funny cause even if i would have added a fight scene Michael would have lost in mine too. Godd show! Thanks for ushering me in, hope to see you in the Monster Mash!

Dino Nebitt: He's got six fingers, the thumb is behind the neck and not visible.

I understand that part, but the foremost finger looks like a pinky finger

neens: the hand on page three, gripping the guitar neck- it looks backwards.

graphic: thy way your speech bubbles were laid out makes it hard to follow at times! and try not to have them cover up faces. I'd also recommend against a giant page with a single line of text on it in the future. I think the other thing I wanna point out is the hand on page three, gripping the guitar neck- it looks backwards. otherwise, I like how vibrant your colors are! good first showing, and I hope that we get to see what happens next!

dino: it looks good, but there's a lot missing! D: as it is, it's a generic fight where you could replace your opponent with nearly anyone else.

Elyan: Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the battle!  I'll be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised by this turnout, because you're right, it wasn't intentional, but I love how Dreamer's comic segues into mine.  I had initially planned on having a page or two showing the lead-up to the fight, but had to drop it due to time constraints.  I made the mistake of starting with the exposition scenes in my first battle, and didn't get to the action, so for this one I made a point to go the other direction and just get straight to the fight.

graphicDREAMER: Man, I love this scene!  Your pacing and dialogue is great, and the concept of the black  market finger surgery is just brilliant.  My only major critique is for your dialog balloons.  You've got balloons and tails covering people's faces all over the place, it's pretty wonky.

Thanks for the battle, and welcome to the Void!

Thanks for the crit, i personally know how intimidating they can be to write so thanks for taking the time. Yea im not a big fan of the colors either, i need more markers so that i have more options. Yea the panels were def cramped in spots! i was tryin to tell too much story in too few pages. i wasnt sure what to do with such a short deadline. Ill work on all those things in the current battle.

well that was actually quiet unexpected for me. glad i got to read that today :D
i´m usually shying away from critics but well let me give it a try.

graphicdreamer: all in all this was quiet entertaining. i really enjoyed your plottwist/ending since it was a subtle but effective way to bring your opponent into play but still manage a decent scene in few pages.
i think though your frames would benefit from a little separation. the pacing was nice but it felt a bit cramped i think due to the frames but also cause there were a LOT of panels on a page sometimes. it feels strange to me giving this is a pretty relaxed scene.
as for the colours. i´m no big fan of high saturations but with some blacks here and there it worked out nice.
though the blacks seemed to be missing in page 4. especially your room view could have profited from them.
all in all. i liked your entry and i hope you get to improve on the art aspect in future battles.

dino nebitt: you handled this little fight scene very very great. i liked it all in all. your lineart is amazing and i love to see the over confident smile kicking ass.... but i missed some context.
where is the story where is the trigger for the situation.
actually it could be seen as a continuation from graphic dreamers part but i dont think that was the intention.
