It's like Kill Bill haha. Just keep up with the story and try to keep things unique.

To add on what everyone else is saying, watch your word balloons. On page 3, panel 3, the letters all get mushed together. Give your text a little more room to breathe inside those bubbles. You can probably still shrink the text without losing readability.

On using photo-BGs: There are lots of ways to make it 'work', but for me it depends on deliberateness. Make the collage look more like an aesthetic choice than a shortcut. I say keep pushing it while practicing drawing from life.

Agreed on the canned city bg and the anatomy (there is a way to make it look good in that style, but it's a bit tricky.) However, the comic as a whole has a solid feel to it's aesthetic and pretty good pacing. It feels like you really have a good grasp on where you want to go and how you want to get there. Very good foundational stuff when it comes to story telling (even if you are winging the details, as many of us do do to the way void as a whole works. X3 ) A mother chasing after her child's kidnapper is a classic plot, but not over done and is filled with potential. Can't wait to see what you come up with as you go forward. (if you are still looking for a battle in a month, I might just take you up on it. would do it now, but i got plans over the next couple of weeks. X3 )

Welcome to Void.

A new Void fighter AND A Pulp Fiction fan? Sign me up!

I will echo the previous comments you've gotten about your girls anatomy. My heart goes out to her internal organs and her wonky spine, but your hit men looked really great. I especially love their poses on page 2 panel 4.

I am completely surprised the approval committee approved you with photographed backgrounds, and I hope from here on out, your future comics feature artwork that's all you and all around cohesive. Best of luck to you and looking forward to seeing your first battle with a lucky (or unlucky) fighter on Void!

OHhhhhhhhh Is it just me, or have I stumbled across a Pulp Fiction fan? xD  The only panel that I really didn't like, was the 2nd to last, where she's heading for the door. The angle, the perspective, the size of the door, all of it seems really off. Otherwise, really well done  :)

HEY HEY HEY NEW CHARACTER!

Nice little intro to your comic - rather concerned about that skyline? Is it stock or brushes? Either way it doesn't blend in well with the rest of your style so it makes it stand out - cityscapes can be daunting to draw and tackle it anyway! You get more credit for at least trying then taking the easy way out.

Other tip is that I see that your style exaggerates small waists and big hips (Jessica rabbit style) which is fine - but be careful! If you exaggerate it too much she looks like she's gonna snap in two in page 1 panel 6 - also her hips and shoulders aren't align, watch out for anatomy!

Also PULP FICTION. Had to throw that one out there.

Welcome to Entervoid!! Get battling!
