Those... eyebrows...

ATOMICFISH- It's so great to see  change of pace for Andy, even if it was only for a moment (way to go, Dr. fab!). Her new haircut looks great! Here's hoping despite her outing going bust, she stays with the look. It was a great story and I found myself totally engaged in the comic. I especially love the page where Fabulous goes to find his scarf and he says 'a man just knows'- very funny. I'd say technically, your comic had the same problem Rofl's had in that your backgrounds and environments could do with some love. You seemed to have a great build up going when Andy goes to the second hand store, but by the end the bar appears to be little more than squares and rectangles.

ROFLQU- Oh man, when you told me this joke, I admit there was a chuckle, but I honestly didn't think something so short would carry as a comic battle- now I'm not so sure! your art really made the punchline pop. Omigosh Angus' face at the end and the way you write the words 'I told you' killed me! I think everyone can I agree when it comes to humor you are definitely in your element. When I saw Bobo's comment mentioning you need to work on backgrounds I had to give your side a second look and I have to agree. You started off strong with that great establishing shot of Andy on the bench with all the fall leaves, but after that it is pretty bare.

Rofl: I think you need to work on your backgrounds.

I do too. Last minute decision on that one.

Atomic -  Fabulous! seeing that side of Andy was pretty cool. Hopefully a little of that confidence stayed with her. I really like how you highlight that red throughout the comic. As much as I love full color it kinda suits your style in my opinion. Good stuff.

Rofl - That was ridiculous, but in the best kind of way. Hilarious. Also, that 1st shot of Andy in the park, WOW. I dunno, I stared at that for a few mins.

AtomicFish, your story was pretty cute. a lot of your faces look pretty off to me. props for drawing them at a bunch of angles though! I'm sure this is a result of the time limit, but you shoulda had more tones to separate things. your last pages are fine with it, but some of the first ones don't really have much. since the bgs are so simple (or not there at all) they could have benefitted. again, I understand the quick turnaround for these! it's pretty cool you managed a bunch of pages, just keep in mind quality vs. quantity.

Rofl, yours was pretty funny. looks like you spent a good amount of time with inks and colors. I don't really "get" it maybe(?) since I haven't been around lately and have no clue who the other dude is, but it's set up in a way that it doesn't really matter. I guess another nitpick would be staging- dr. fab approaches from one side and then is bit on the other side, stuff like that. I wouldn't worry too much about things like that for a lil comic like this though, but I noticed it right away so I thought I'd mention it! I also hate that text page, haha.

Well done with both comics. Both story lines were entertaining with a side dish of hilarity, and ending with a sweet twist.

Andy noooo confidence comes from withiiiiin but yeah you looked hella fabulous in that boa lol! Fun to see a chance of pace from her! and I know you ran outta time but I kinda liked the colours as they were!
