Thanks for the votes everyone. Much appreciated.
Haha, Con, that spine pulling page was awful. I'm not gonna lie, the only reason this comic was such an 'experiment' was because I had such a limited amount of time on it, due to the fact that I left all the actual drawing and inking/painting to the last day... I had a big hand in of a lot of other work for school as it was the end of the year.
I enjoy playing with layouts, I think its a very distinctive feature that differentiates comics from a lot of other art forms.
The ending... wasn't the end, there was in fact another page due, but that panel happened to sort of work as an unresolved ending so I left it as it was to save time.
Very bad time management on my part. I think I will stick to one week comics for now, put more pressure on myself.

Yeah I did this sort of last minute unfortunately. I didn't want to default so I went ahead and did a simple interaction comic, I just couldn't think of anything else to do. In the future I'm going to prepare a script much sooner and have an idea of what I want to do before I even start the battle. Thanks for the tips!

Base: I enjoy that you're trying to use perspective in your comic work, good job on that. Next I would work on some more dynamic angles, as most frames are shot from mid-thigh and upwards. To be completely honest I am not sure what I am seeing in the last panel of your comic. Something has melted perhaps? This was a pretty straight forward interaction comic but I can't help but remember that this is just about what parallel with what happened in your previous comic. I might try and branch out to different plots, it doesn't always have to be point and shoot.
Joe: Weird stuff as usual friend. I dig the new stuff you tried for here, especially how you played with your panel layouts. It's definately getting there. I like the brushwork on the huge eye panel. Reversely, I don't think the spine pulling page worked very well with the rest of the comic because it was so undetailed compared to the rest. The ending was also a little unresolved for me? But my favourite page was Fredric talking to Trix with all the heads and other things around, good layout there my man. It's definately coming along, can't wait to see more.

So ye, this was really a huge experiment for me, tried using all sorts of different stuff, paint ink tippex pencils biros fineliners just to se how it would all work scanned in etc.
I feel some things worked and some really didn't. Ah well.
I love the bottom panel of the second page Base, so much movement to it.
I'll properly look through the comic later.

Joe Neary: Dang man- I really dig how you work al these mediums and methods into your pages- even the obscure formats and page sizes just create this over-riding sense of discord and discomfort. Its quite horrific and perfect for the psychological nature of Fredric's battles. Your tribal symbols and motifs of brain and concentric circles establish a sense of design far above your seemingly murky drawing ability. I'd recommending pushing your washes and minimalist forms- that seems to work best for you. Maybe look at some Danijel Zelzelj art-
http://www.google.com/search?q=danijel+zezelj&hl=en&prmd=imvnso&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=7szFT8CKC9H-2QWii4XIAQ&sqi=2&ved=0CFkQsAQ&biw=940&bih=871 and strive to refine your style as it is uniquely yours- which is the HIGHEST PRAISE I CAN GIVE. You know your limitations and you just need to work on your process now- time management and upping your game. We ought to talk.
