Thanks for all the constructive critiques and criticisms... I shall take those to heart and do my best to improve.

You're a creator after my own heart, a man of words with an eye for detail. I love the premise of BlackAdder, he's such a lout, and his characterization is composed perfectly by his speechifying. I love a man who can bash his foes to bit with a good verbal tirade before curb-stomping their spines. It's so easy to imagine Blackadder sharing the canon with Gaston, perhaps hailing from Kipling's world. You're backgrounds and compositions are tight, super detailed although a bit too lush for the sometimes caricatures of your characters.

The Bukakae mask, the ships, the animation of your characters- its all great humorous throwback. Clearly your influences shine through, your personality shines through and you put so much of yourself into your work- so much so the man and comics become synonymous. It's admirable. Few possess such definitive ownership of their style. I dig it, it truly feels like something from 60 years ago up till the bear rape. What an incongruously perverse ending.

Puddle: Humorous showing.

underwoodwriter-very solid all around! I love your inks and your characters are very expressive. The main thing I noticed was your text was very small so I had a hard time reading the dialogue. It would also be a good idea to pace it a bit better, because at the moment you have several instances where you have like a paragraph in each word bubble, which makes it hard to read.

Puddle-your characters look pretty nice but I'm not really sure what happened here. Try to have more variety in your shot collection to have better clarity in the future.

Reallyreallygood. I love it. Use of blacks incredible, arts all consistent throughout. Awesome story.
I want to give some constructive criticism so you can hopefully improve even more though.
I felt the characters at times were just floating in the panels and were not part of or not really standing on the ground for example. I think this is probably because you draw your characters in a slightly different way to how you draw your backgounds. I know its a horrible comparison but it sortof reminds me of Disney animations with lush painted backgrounds and cartoony characters plonked on top. I'm guessing a more detailed approach to the characters could fix this as I've seen some of your other stuff and you really could easily acheive this.
The eplosion. I don't know how you did it, but it just sort of looks weird. It just doesn't seem handrawn like everything else but just like you took a photograph of some mould or something and turned it black and white.
So friggin good though. :D

I'm not gonna lie. I found this really funny. So you tickled someones funny bone. Deffinitely keep that up. I just wanna see some nice art and more developed story out of you.

Underwood: My goodness. This is fucking astounding. This is top notch grade A work. Please stick around. I have no complaints. This is one of the best comics I've ever seen on this site. Haha.

Puddle: It's good to see you back. What a fun comic you made. The end made me giggle quite a bit. I hope you stick about, but I do suggest you work with a longer deadline, haha. Looks nice though. The silly faces were fun. I just wanna see something more finished looking.

Underwood, I've been in a sort of awe of your stuff after I discovered you through ASC, so seeing you here is amaaaazing. Your work doesn't disappoint, I can't even say anything about it really because I'm in love with it.

Puddles: Nice and short entry and kind of funny, I think you managed to draw a really short straw here haha! I look forward to seeing what you do with a bit more time up your sleeve.

omg that was just...

Underwood, that was just perfect. Dialogue, pacing, the line work, everything! Probably my fav comic so far. You definitely know what you're doing.

Puddle, the idea of your character is still awesome, so regardless of this match, I'd still love to see some comics from ya.

Bear rape.

Well.  Not much more to say about that.

Underwood, you went way over the top with this one! Great stuff.

As for Puddle... sorry man, this one really feels like it falls short. I look forward to seeing more stuff from you in the future, and watching you improve!

underwoodwriter: you have a very, very disturbing mind.. but I like your comics nonetheless. Good show!

Puddle: funny, but not up to scratch

After this round, I do think a rematch would be entirely appropriate if you wish it so, afterall, Dante would want revenge... if you know what I mean.

Sooo, I totally blanked that this weekend was Easter. I found out from an email from my mom saying that we were having Easter at her house. I was really counting on having the weekend to finish my pages, and I tired working on them while out of town but there was just to many distractions. And I'm not trying make an excuse for myself, I just wanted to explain that, realizing only having 4 pages done there was no real grasp on what was going on in the story, so I drop my Gargoyle hunt/zombie slaying/crypt adventure for this 'Holiday festive' two-pager that I busted out while waiting for Easter Dinner, and mainly that I would love to have another/regular match against you underwood (if you want), I think your character is awesome and there was a number of story ideas I would have liked to explore.

I hope your entry kicks-ass....mainly mine.
