Excelsis: Nice screenshots there.
Feelsink: It seems you have a nice style going there and even some cool camera work but it's incomprehensible to follow the action. I dig your lines and tones but in the future strive for clarity and perhaps some more complexity.

excelsis-the art is very nice but there wasn't much to the comic.
Feelsink-this was way better than your design sheet! You had some good shots and pacing in here so I would like to see what you would do with a longer deadline. You'd do yourself a lot of favors by doing digital lettering, because the hand lettering here is kind of messy and hard to read.

feelsink: Like Hiemie I noticed that both of them had no idea what was going on, and I actually really loved that. They've both so utterly disoriented and for such utterly different reasons. Definitely did get that rushed vibe, though, I feel like you could've built up that whole "they because what in the damn fuck seriously" chaos to have a lot more punch. I liked your character's bizarre bloodlust (even if it's for her own). You probably could've fit in a few more characterization beats in the same vein in there. Let's see what you've got for me in round 2!
excelsis: Consider yourself pre-challenged whenever I get kicked outta the tourney and also finish my story arc or whatever. It's a matchup that was ordained by the gods.

Oh yes. The regrets. I really only had a half hour on the computer this weekend, with Easter and family engagements. I don't wanna bore you, but I definitely messed up a few things... I think I even entered them in the wrong order....
Anyhoo, thanks you for your kind words, and I hope to give you guys what ya want in the future: an actual comic.

Excel: This is kinda fun, but not entirely a comic. I heard something came up for you, and that's fine. I still feel you coulda did something, even in a day. I don't know why you showed whatever drawing program you used to make this on the splashes though. I hope to see a comic from you eventually, and it's understandable if you put something more important in front of a hobby.
Feelsink: Haha, this was silly. It just seems like both characters were utterly confused on what even happened. It was manic and scribbly, but I enjoyed it. I feel like you just threw this together though in places. I'm looking forward to something more developed from you. (BTW, I loved your post-it design sheet. I think you should paste it under your other one.)

Both made me laugh. But Feelsink's got my vote for being a comic.
Wanna see more from you two!

Feelsink, I had a tough time following a lot of the action in your comic. Clarity is kind of a big deal, maybe you can work on that?
Excelsis, I know you just threw this together, but I cracked up anyway. I hope to see more activity from you in the future.

You`re both fine. There`s a bit of a grace period as it takes them time to get the comics uploaded and set up for voting, and also nobody`s online anyway.
Lookin`forward to y`all`s comics.

Actually, I might be able to. I just have Easter to get through with the 'rents. I'll enter something, but I probably won't have time to ink & color it. I'll try, though.

Aw, man. I was really looking forward to your character in particular. Was hoping we'd meet up in a later round.
Oh well. Good luck with your other engagements, and don't be shy to the idea of just submitting Clark or any other characters you have on the stove through the site the old fashioned way! The nice thing about having a stable for non-tourney stuff is that it's there for when you have the time to do it.

I won't be able to compete this round due to.... other engagements. I joined this competition on a whim, and now I'm leaving it on one. Apologies and kudos.
