Oh, that was a fun read. <3 I honestly didn't mind the extended battle scene at all! I don't have any real critiques for ya. Sweet stuff. :]

Thanks guys!
Orange-glad it was a step up from the last comic! I tried to refine it even more in part 3 so here's hoping!
Pyras-Yeah, as a manga fan it's definitely hard to not overdo it page count wise haha I'll try to be better about watching the page count on action scenes in the future.

Talk about intense!
Everyone has already said the main issues (borders, fight composition, etc.).
While all the art is fabulous as usual, story-wise I do think that the comic could have had a few pages cut and been the better for it. I feel like the battle choreography, due to its length, is more appropriate for an animation than it is for a comic (and I've been there, wanting to making these long incredible battles on page because I picture them in motion in my head, then seeing just how many pages they actually take up in comic form).
Concerning her emotional state, one possible alternative could be her getting increasingly more angry, then at the moment near the peak of the climax, she drops to passive again. Just one idea.
The emotion is definitely there, my heart sank when Kateri says those last words before Angie goes postal.
Fantastic job altogether, and can't wait to see the aftermath!

Wicked comic! Funfetus covered most of my thoughts already so this'll be brief.
I do want to add that the action sequences, while really nice, were a bit hard to follow here and there. I think with the style of linework being so thick it was hard to tell what was going on in some places.
But it was still an entertaining comic and I really love the red palette you've been using on these so far. This one felt a lot more refined compared to part one colour wise.

Thanks for the crits! Yeah, you pretty much got it. As the battle progressed she started slowly losing it mentally until she was pretty much no longer there, I can see where making her get progressively more pissed would have been more interesting. I figured page 50 would be confusing to people as I was trying really hard not to do a side shot, but in the end doing something slightly more interesting camera wise killed my clarity. Angie just shoots a large quantity of blood through Kateri which tears her apart. In the third panel on that page you see the body is pretty much split in two from the waist up and it's my fault that's not clear, I should have zoomed the camera in and made the linework tighter there. I will definitely work on clarity/taking my time more in the future, thank you

Your comics are very enjoyable and this story is kind of original!
Its allways a pleasure to read them.
The battle was not that bad but the first half seems way more entertaining to me.
In the first half she seems more raging, there was more anger and hate, the battle was more intense.
The second half after she transforms it is like her brain totally passed out.
I dont know what you intended with that but only this look on her face takes the speed out of the battle.
If i can ask a question... page 50 confused me a bit.
As Kateri was splattered into thousands of good wishes i did not really understood how Angie did that.
I mean was it a mess of big spikes from her stomache?
Or just a hand or what because the organs fly accross the place but is seems in the end like she only misses a head idk...

Thank you very much! Yeah, as cool as black gutters look, they can definitely be a challenge to work with. I'll try to be more careful with them in the future!

Holy crap! What a crazy fight scene! I know you've said you don't feel like you're good at action, but it seemed alright to me. You used a really interesting variety of approaches, which is probably important in such a long fighit scene.
My main crit would be that, with those black gutters, you''ve gotta be really careful that your panels aren't blending into each other. There were more than a few places in this comic where it took me a second to understand whether I was looking at one panel or two.

Onward to part 2! This part has actually been done for a few weeks and will be the longest one, totaling at 50 pages. I hope you all enjoy this part as much as the first one, it was definitely a test to hang in there and get it done. Even though it's finished, I still intend on sticking with the Feb 15th post date to spread things out.
