Al: Yeah, perhaps some context is in order.
Kars has started work as a mailman and he's been tasked to send parcels and stuff to some of Void's more...
hazardous environments. At night, he goes to the public library to read up on magic stuff.
And sometimes he goes for lunch with his usual gondolier.
I'll go work on those perspectives more.

Sorry tdkgunghoul - But I have no efffin clue what's going on story wise... sorry man. And i agree with all RoflQu said.
Unfortunately the comic left me with a feeling of a rough draft or some kind of story boarding exercise....
You have plenty of time in Beyond Battles take your time, work on your line width and change up your camera angles.... and try some actual perspective ... like with Horizon lines and stuff.

Dr, prismas and copics are hard to come by here, so I used these instead:http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e382/crazili/marker.jpg
Rolf, will do.

I'm not sure what kind of markers you're using but I'd reccomend something with a broad tip like Prismacolors or Copics; you should be able to get more even blocks without having white spaces. They are about 4 - 8 dollars (CDN) each depending on which type you're getting but they are well worth it! If you're trying to go with a sketchy feel on purpose then something finer might be better for a hatching style (though I wouldn't know what to reccomend).
Overall cool comic though, this is my first look at the character and he seems pretty interesting.

A trick I've found to make cleaner greys is to use red. You can then easely convert it to a clean grey once scanned, since the computer has an easier time telling red and black appart than grey and black.

I think you're rushing a bit with these markers. Those big empty white spots in the grays really don't help the look of the comic and you're really neglecting the other color you have at your disposal, which is black. You really should work with incorporating more blacks into your works, because it's an invaluable tool. Perhaps considering buying bigger markers to use as well, since then you'll have less of the overlapping marker lines to deal with. Because we can see every stroke as well, try drawing them up in a consistent manner to reduce that overlap as well.
You have this habit of making everything very angular. Try to avoid giving the face and other body parts jagged edges when there are none. Also, some more anatomy practice would really help. You've gotten a bit better, but it can go so much farther.
This was a fun comic and I hope it ultimately relates to your ATN entry, since the setting is really neat.
