Fetus Bro: Yeah, it was ink wash. Goes down fast and fills out your negative space. Much quicker than working with markers because of how you don't have to go over the spot.

Also, the alphabet was done on the spot, I just took the face of a dice and added a few random lines. And it's funny you mention in print, because I kind of wanna do this story again but better. And thank you, you're too kind.

Mr.Flque -  That was too good, loved what you did here, great humor and even better art.  Loved the surreal environments you created outside of the house, and your characters are really endearing.  Did you use ink washes for this?  Also, i loved the fact that you used a non existent (maybe it's your secret alphabet, i have one too..~) text for this, gave it an even better other worldly feel to it.   And jawbone behind the ear, priceless!  I wouldnt mind having this comic in print for my bookshelf.   By far my favorite comic of the competition.  Great job!

Great work evreryone else, shame DJ neko and slaggle didnt get anything up though.  Time to vote!

Rofl that has to be the best comic you've posted on void in YEARS! Maybe all your battles should be 24 hour deadlines :3

I'll get around to reading the rest of these later.

Cool stuff everyone.

Le Fred: Yours was probably my favorite. I like how you used panels for entire baloons. That actually didn't look as lazy as it sounds. It kind of loses the point of a comic for a bit though. (which is story told by images)

Rofl: Yours is crazy well rendered. It wasn't 24 pages but is well darn finished for what it is. Cool theme, btw.

LeFred: I had a better idea when I finished it. I think I wanna redo this story at some point though, I like some ideas I ended up coming with later after I was done with it and had a chance to sit and look back. And you deserve some serious applause for making it as far as you did, man.

I'll give "serious critiques" later.

Thanks :3

Rofl; that was... odd XD I liked it very much until they started talking, then I was just lost. Very nice looking, though, whimsical and sureal like I like them.

Orange; HeadshotYaaaay! No, lady, it does NOT get old, there is nothing like hearing cheering kids everytime you kill someone, I could do it all day XD

Pi; GASP! What is our hero going to do? Will he really serve this totally trustworthy sounding person? Tune in next time, when... tell me there is a next time, I already like these people D:
I mean, how can you not love old comunist sailors?

Cake; Did you consult with zsaseubrer before this?
That looked like a fun silly battle, shame its so damn messy when the action starts.

I had plans with people today, so I'll try and get a couple more pages knocked out here, but at most I'll have about 7 haha.

Oh. yeah, 20 first pages seem to work, sent the 3 others to toast.

Also, 24 hour comic: totally worth it. A fun day spent with my music and pencils, away from all the growing stress of everyday life. :3

Goddamn it was time this madness ended XD
my hands are shaking... 23 pages! I just didn't have anything to put for a 24th, my story is complete.

I spent all day on this! who would've thought the 24 hour challenge would be so long? D:

You can go and read http://fred-s-kaed.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2rleab as prior reading. It's not mandatory, but it involves the same characters and universe.
