I enjoyed both of these. I don't have time for a full critique but I genuinely liked these.

Mrnoitaull: Man, despite the setbacks that seem to happen to you, I'm always really interested in the stories you present with Corry. You do a really good job of connecting your world together, as opposed to just having your opponents exist as a one-shot fight, they really become a fascinating piece of whatever puzzle you're building towards.

In terms of art, you've got some gorgeous backgrounds going on. It's rare to see the grass and backwoods areas drawn on the site (since everyone primarily does buildings and inner city) and I have no complaints there. The ink wash really compliments it and it looks good.

However, I think your people are lacking in some spots. You've got a great sense of posing and anatomy going on, but I think you could push the definition on some things with your ink work, little detail things, such as knuckles or maybe some more stuff in the face. Something that would help bring it all together and make it really stand out.

As it stands now, this is incomplete. I hope you upload the rest of it if you can get your hands on it and scan it, but this is a great effort and I'm excited to see what you'll do next.

Fetus Man: You're really something. You've got a really fun story going on for these 8 pages, I just wish it kept going on. I love your choice of using tones, it looks really good, as does using your shadows selectively. I was also impressed by the technical detail on the television set.  Most people would throw together a square box and screen, but the addition of all the actual detail is a real welcome change of pace and really brings your world together.

I think beyond all the praise for you, I think the way you draw Copper Mouth now does have some issues with me. I find for a man who is at least 65 years old, he looks much too youthful. A little too clean-cut or not having any wrinkles going on, I dunno. Not that it's making me tear out my hair and stomping on the ground up and down, just something I noticed. Also, you have some seriously nice hands going on, but I think for some reason your palm view looks a LITTLE thin. Or perhaps your hands are a tad elongated there in the fingers or something.

But these criticisms ultimately add up to semantics, you've got your priorities set and you know what you're doing. I'm really excited to see your next comic on the site, great job on this one.

Mrnoitaull : For unfinished you say it to be, what you have was pretty damn nice. It looks good, flows very well.
I usually cant stand action-descriptive dialogue, but it all comes naturally, so I liked it, exciting entry.

Fetus : Now, I sure wasnt expecting that XD nice work, things do seem to happen pretty fast, but quite amusing.
I love the use of the dot patterns, they really seem to fit with the theme.

No worries MrNo, I understand how it is when your backup fails, it's happened to me more than a few times.  I'm eagerly looking forward to you posting as a beyond battle as Angie suggested.
That being said, I really enjoyed what you did manage to post. Good job taking copper and molding him to fit your story, I cant wait to see where it pans out.  I got a good kick seeing him as an old country recluse.  Dialogue was well written and thought out, I always have trouble on that front.  Your art was also looking really nice, good blacks and washes, and it looks like you were applying more proper  perspective work which is a plus.  I'll save a real in depth crit for when I see the finished thing.

As for my half, I know there's plenty wrong with it, but I look forward to seeing what you all have to say about it.  Thanks for taking the time to read it, I sure had a blast drawing it.... now I gotta get crackin' on my next show!

Ohhhhhh, well if you've been gone a while I don't feel as bad about not knowing who Copper Mouth is. That means you're starting with a clean slate with me though, so put out an impressive first impression. XD

Here we go again, last time i tried this i fell victim to a default, which was a major shame.  I apologize for that again, but i hope you guys stick around for this one, I've got some "interesting" things in store.

Best of luck Mrnoitaull, can't wait to see what you turn out.
