Good stuff Wolcik! I definately think you need to work on your backgrounds a bit more.....

Story wise: Stay tunned, kids XD Blackbird vs Mr.Awesome is coming due two weeks and I bet we both bring something good to the playground. Dunno if I manage to start coloring, but I'm sure gonna try to spend some time to show quality :)

Art wise, not bad Wolcik. It still tends to be hit and miss from panel to panel, but when you hit it, it's pretty good.

Story wise, eeeeeeh. I really liked Mr. Awesome, but now he's basically going to be a mindless slave type character? I dunno how I feel about that. I'll hold out complete judgment until I see where this goes...

I think you're doing very well with the solid blacks on the characters, it really adds a bit more depth to your work. I'd like to see them brought more into the backgrounds now so we don't have this super clean background against shaded characters. I think it's fine that you introduced some new characters, it helped get me interested in what's going to happen next since I'm still a little clear of what their relationship is with Awesome. I do agree with pyras about the epic chunk of text, I think either just splitting it into 2 bubbles or splitting it into an extra panel would be a good way to break up the text for better flow.

Your art definately looks better this way. I do recommend you look up David Finch.

PyrasTerran: the hag XD
Quote

:D Pyras that's mean! Hags have feelings too (maybe)

I like the plot developments you've dreamed up, and I can't wait to see the masked women (and the hag) appear in more Mr. Awesome comics.

PyrasTerran: Yeah, I wanted to put some information up there and I didn't know how to compile them better. I gave some of Bob's secrets now so for now I'll focus on him again - don't expect those girls showing up in my battles soon.

Ahah! Things are getting real juicy! :D

Great intrigue, I can't wait to see what happens next; My one gripe is the hag's run-on-like sentences at the bottom of page 5. She of all people should be catching her breath XD

Well, when I get the time, I'm going to have to bust a head or two.
