nicely done here, quality was well above average. Good plot, and funny ending.

I have to admit, "It looks like this arm, but left" made me burst out laughing.  XD

Yeah as soon as I read the pest control part I was like, "The dude try to kill him with poison, my beyond battle is gonna have to be 'Sonny vs Roachkiller'"

Sorry once again, I'm regreting not posting it on time -but I did lean more about backgrounds thanks to this.
I could add some more details to backgrounds and fix shading on walls and such, maybe even make all characters shaded with 5 layers of color (before I'll start coloring it normally) - but at this point I saw all the defects in lineart and this made me quit that idea and leave for better ones.
All lines were retraced with tablet on my laptop so they are cleaner while not so straight or thickness is very similar all the time - will work on that.

As for the story: the first two pages were suppose to go to my Armageddon theme, but since I drew them and they looked simple I added them to this Battle. I wanted to add more jokes about Awesome being ingnorant throwards his pain and lose of (both) arm(s). I also wanted to add more inner monoloque for Bob, but that would take too much focus from Sonny, and he is already very episodic - Bob tends to threat people as objects or small events in his "epic" story.
The reason why there are no objects in the hospital room was suppose to be because of pest control - but I could add some platic sheets on windows and floor. The joke was that Bob thought he could threat Sonny as a doctor or something like that - just another of his delussions.

The comic itself was pretty amusing, especially the parts were Mr. Awesome was acting rather nonchalant about his arm missing.
I think backgrounds could definitely use some work (I feel like a huge hypocrite saying this, considering I suck at backgrounds, myself). In the panels on the second page and third page I was not a fan of the use of Photoshop filters/patterns. I have yet to see a comic in which that kind of stuff looks like it's been used well.
Also, I would look up references for backgrounds and such. The hospital room looks rather empty, and I think that section could have really benefited from looking up references for hospitals.
There were also a few places where Mr. Awesome's head/facial structure consistency slipped a bit, but I might just be picking nits now.

Overall, I think the comic was pretty enjoyable. The "punchline" at the end of the money being stolen was also a very nice touch.

this is actually pretty funny, if anything i want you to work more on angles and backgrounds, but it is quite entertaining, kudos..

Damn I really liked this too, I can honestly say that you beat me on this (would be battle).
The ending got me laughing. I also learned a lot in terms of story.

It's a pity you didn't post this in time, it's a contender!

I'm not digging the filter effect used on page 2, even though I understand why you did it. brush strokes would help keep with the rest of the comic's style, IMO. The same applies for some of the filters on the walls.

I've been advised against using the line tool for my backgrounds, and I'd suggest the same.. a good alternative is to use the line tool on a separate layer, drop the opacity, and trace your own line onto the line art. It'll still be quite straight but still have the natural feel of having been drawn by hand without a ruler or anything :D

Also better to look up what a modern-day hospital room looks like rather than guess it, there's alotta equipment missing in there :X

good job overall, keep it up!

Sorry once again for defaulting. This is finished version of what I had. There would be less background and hospital would be raw sketch, but I could post it if I didn't screw up the date.
