Baratacom-damn, I really wish you'd been able to keep up the coloring throughout the whole comic since you did a very nice job with it and I liked the colors you chose. But the straight up BW pages were still plenty strong on their own so that's fine. I think you did a great job with the pacing and I really enjoyed the story you had going here. The only thing I really noticed was your backgrounds could use some work. They seem to be a little bit behind skill wise in comparison to the characters. Like page 6 first panel that's kind of a lazy city scape. But I also get you were working with a short deadline and a ton of pages, perhaps sacrificing the page count a tad and upping your overall quality would help.

AX-I think your lineart came across much stronger in the black and white pages than the colored page. I get that you were working with something new which is fine, and I did like the color selection there, but without much of an outline the figures kind of blended into the backgrounds. You did a nice job with the lineart but you have a lot of negative space. I think either doing some quick BW toning in PS or with water color would have helped. The big thing I noticed was the lack of attention to backgrounds, remember that they're equally as important as the characters so please give them a tad more love and attention so we know where the comic is taking place.

Barata- Excellent comic.  I've never seen your work before but I know you usually team up with Perca in WFA so who knows what I was expecting.  But this is cool and I like how you guys are kinda sharing ideas overall.  Dood is a fun character, so much fun in fact, I wanted to fight him assassin to assassin.  Eh I would have lost but hey...  I kinda get a sort of vague Jojo feel from this because of the exposition Dood goes through.  Like it's not boring and it's interesting, the way he goes about trying to defeat a rag doll that makes people's heads explode.  Great characterization.  I'm going to admit though that I am not the greatest fan of the linework that colorists like you and Perca throw down, because without those colors, the line work is kinda... standard, I guess the word is.

Flame, what you started off trying to do was interesting but because the rest of the comic doesn't follow this pattern though it seems it was intended for this effect, the last three pages fall kinda flat.  Not your strongest linework that I've seen.  Better luck next time but you had the beginnings of something potentially great.

Barata - Surprisingly badass buildup for a face off with a rag doll. Clean work, good pacing, and a solid story. I'm not sure whether your work would look better with some more blacks in it or not. Can't wait to see your other work!

A.X. - I really liked the water colors at the beginning, and Stoff is seriously cute. Unfortunate you couldn't finish, but a big problem I saw was perspective. Your backgrounds seemed very shaky. The characters looked a bit odd, they didn't seem to have much shape beyond their clothing.

Ahahah sweet comic, man. I enjoyed it a lot!

I'm gonna have to apologize for my comic. I was pretty hyped for the SDT, but it turns out I couldn't finish. Really sorry, Baratacom and everyone else. Even if I did finish, I'm pretty sure I won't have time for SDT after, since I'll be doing something of an internship for school soon and that will take up a lot of my time, and that would mean no time to work on more one week comics.

I definitely owe you something, Bara. Good luck on the tourney!
