Excellent work, Krat! I think the shading was a little heavy handed in some parts (not so much the shading itself, but how it made some of the details hard to see), but it gave it great character throughout. Good development, and I like how all your characters feel 'animated'. Hope to see more from you!

Hey Krat, really good expressions on this, especially of Edgar and Tofu.  And I see improvement with your
coloring style since your last comic, nice use of the textures and excellent attention to detail.
Only critiques I have is on the panel with the close up of the jar of souls, should colored so the thumb was in
front of the jar, looked kinda odd. Just watch out for things like that- the "layering" of your shapes. And just
keep practicing your humans/ faces, they were a little more generic  compared to the two main chars.
Great ideas and execution overall!

I enjoyed the colors a lot. I like the cartooning of your characters, I would encourage you to give allthe characters the same amount of design. Tofu and Edgar look great but the kids kind of look like afterthoughts design wise, they don't have the same quality as the main characters. Also on page 1 panels 1 and 4, Tofu crossed legs look a bit odd. Now when people sit that way, that's actually how a knee looks, but I would have turned him a bit so we could see a bit of his thigh, not just the lower leg segment. It is correct anatomically but it's one of those things that looks weird even in real life. The story drug on a bit for me, but I don't know if that's you or my ADD but it was enjoyable. Good job.

So great job on the crosshatching where available.  The little details like the trees and such were excellent.  Truly.  I'm not actually a fan of the coloring.  It worked well on the backgrounds, excellent even but I did not enjoy the shading on the characters themselves.  The story didn't really stand out to me but it had it's funny moments especially with Mr. Tofu.  And I dunno if different colored word balloons are a good idea.

Krat, I loved your coloring - the spectral color effects during the story scenes were beautiful. Oh, and like J. said: texture. This comic felt very layered by tones and I liked the overall effect.

Love the colours, Krat. Great texture, very visually interesting. Superbuff tofu tearing off his shirt gave me a good chuckle.
Anyway, well done!
