WHAT A TWIST!

I like the art here, especially all of Page 1.  However, I wish there weren't so many panels with just a head and dialogue.  I know you can mix it up a bit more than that.  Very intriguing story, and I found the sisters especially amusing.  Good stuff here Hiems.

I was kind of feeling that there's a lot of information, but not enough time to let things sink in. Like it's just all going by too fast.

I am super curious with this story so far and the characters are pretty entertaining. I think once you get the quality up a notch it will win.

I was expecting this to turn out like the typical "corrupt country sheriff/mayor" type plot - but this latest bit makes be think you're doing something far more creative than just that with the story.

I too think some gray would clarify the artwork, but overall it's not so bad.

I don't know, the quality is pretty much the same and even better in parts so far this series.  Only real difference is that it isn't colored or shaded.  Personally, I like the choice, it fits the comic well.  I think this comic is better than the last, but the last had a couple better pages.

Also, why doesn't this second of a three part series have a conclusion?

I agree with Qyzex that the quality isn't up to par with your previous work. I think that it has more with lack of practice with pure black and white than anything. It may help to slow down some to try and refine things a little more, granted your work would not work as well being super refined or anything. Having some toning and hatching may help but it may look really jarring if you're looking at your story as a whole to suddenly change your technique in the last chapter. Story wise I'm really enjoying this, the quadruplets were a very nice touch and helped make the town feel more quirky.

The most interesting comic in the SBT, in my opinion. Quality is a little lackluster compared to your other work, and I have a hunch as to why, but the pacing, and storytelling is quite nice.

Deer?!  Manteeth?!  I wanna see how this ends, I'm interested.  But critique wise, found your linework to be shaky in some place.  That is all.
