@Seekeroftwilight: yeah, there was a lack of backgrounds and the body types of both characters were pretty similar. Aesimi looked pretty masculine and a bit older. work on that a bit more. The Chris Brown joke was funny though XD

@Pelica: funny stuffs as usual. Quality is something you gotta work on though, your stuff often looks rushed. your good at drawing it's just making things look cleaner/neater that is the problem, I think. Anyway I loved the expressions and the story, nice job. :D

sorry, seeker. beyond the chris brown joke, this didn't do anything for me.
the thing that urked me the most about the art of your battle beyond the bg's was the fact that sebastian & aesimi were almost clones of one another as far as face & build. take away the clothes & the hair & they would have looked the exact same. i mean, a 5'1 white chick & a 5'9 black guy shouldn't look that similar in the line art. definitely practice your variation in faces & figures. and vary your line widths some. while the hatching looked nice at some points, it was the same thickness as everything else & it got a little same-y looking. using a thicker line for other things while keeping the hatch lines thin will definitely help make things stand out more. also go to & look into some proper comic fonts. the text on your page figures into the composition & the times new roman contrasts with everything else & looks out of place. also, canine handjob? really? i dunno. that seems like you're trying too hard for laughs or something.

pelica, while it got a little too speed-paint-y for me at times & looked a little rushed, yours was pretty fun. while i'm glad you at least took the time to do real light impressionistic kind of backgrounds, if more love was given, the pages over all would have looked that much nicer. the story was pretty cute & i liked the way you captured expressions.

The details on the characters in the sebastian comic are excellent.  But I believe the backgrounds were a bit sparse.  We got the occasional empty sidewalk and not much else.  It's certainly a humorous piece I believe, but I'll admit it's not my sort of thing although the Chris Brown Jutsu was amusing.  Even so, I found the end to be sort of...where is it?

I liked the Aesimi and Beethovn piece, it was humor I could dig and the character expressions were priceless.  I'm not sure if I quite understand the ending here...but good comic nonetheless.

Seek-What a swerve with the Chris Brown melee, BRAVO! Tho the Red rocket finish off was kinda gross. I'm assuming the time restriction kept you from committing to more elaborate bground.

Pelica- Like the colorway, but I think I can tell when u were rapping the panels up for sake of completing ina timely manner.

Not bad

Seeker: Not bad dude,  but I'm gonna be honest, I did not like your story. You really didn't show how the wallet was stolen really aside from Sebastian rummaging through his pockets (this might be a minor nit pick however), Aesimi and Beethoven hardly put up a fight at all when they were being assaulted, and ... wolf masturbating? I'm sorry, but I cannot see how Beethoven here would let somebody clearly not female touch his genitals without getting bitten or worse. That to me was just in poor taste and not funny, and the fact that there was little to no conflict aside from a stolen credit card made hard to enjoy.

But, I would like to see you improve on this, and I think you need to take in a lot of outside references; mainly by reading other books. Local libraries are a god send my friend, most of them carry graphic novels too, but I do recommend books like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and whatever you can get your hands on minus the works of L. Ron Hubbard (books on tape/CD are also great things to listen to as you draw). The art was OK, but you really need to work on perspective, and if you're going to draw an animal you're not familiar with drawing: use lots of references!

Pelica: Not bad, I'm glad your humor and story telling hasn't changed. The art here was OK, but I kinda want to see things pushed a bit further, I mean seriously, when are you gonna draw a densely populated area full of cars and people? DETAILS! I know you can do them, find the time to do them! Push yourself further and move yourself out of the comfort zone every now and then! Other than that however, this was a very enjoyable read.

Not bad, but vote goes to Pelica.
